These weeks have been flying by but have also been going so slowly.  I am tired all the time and just want to sleep.

Yesterday, after our critique, a really shy girl came up to me to personally say how much she liked my photos. Today, a girl whom I've never met came into work and said "Hello, love, how are you?" people are so nice and they make my heart melt.

my questions for you: (I'm doing undzuweiter's questions, because they looked fun :D)

1) who do you miss?

REAGAN. SO much. Only 13 more months. 

2) what’s your dream job

I really want to work for like Vogue magazine taking pictures and doing magazine layouts, or I want to do the advertising for Starbucks. I know that those aren't one person jobs it would just be cool to be a part of it. 

3) what movie do you hate the most?

Mm, I don't normally hate movies that much. I really hated the Savages. That was an awful movie. I also was really, really, really disappointed in That Awkward Moment. Sorry, Zac Efron, that sucked.

4) what is your favorite time of day and why?

Right now, it's either coming home from school and talking to my roommates at night, or waking up on the weekends and laying in bed and drinking coffee.

5) what is your favorite book and why and please cite references from the text

Fahrenheit 451 because "Stuff your eyes with wonder. Live as if you'd drop dead in ten seconds. see the world. It's more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories. 6) what are you passionate about/what gets you really worked up?

I get really worked up about women's rights and pro life.  In a more just happy about things I love I get passionate about photography. 

7) if you HAD to pick a favorite band what would you pick?

Bon Iver. 

8) if you could be stellar at any instrument what would you pick?

Piano. It's my favorite instrument. 

9) im terrible at thinking up questions uh how do you feel about the phrase “anything can be art”

I believe in it. Honestly, I've been learning about the Arts and Crafts movement and how men, like William Morris, really did see the potential of art in everything. They thought that everything had beauty. And for me, beauty = art. Whether it be a flower, a person, a painting, I believe it's art. In its own way.

10) who is your role model

I really look up to my Mother, in her actions, her beliefs and passions, and her way of handling life. I also really look up to Greg Boyd. His beliefs and life are so admirable. 

11) finally uhhhhhhhhhhhhh what is your favorite season

It used to be Fall but honestly I'm really in love with Summer after this winter haha.

1. If you could spend a month anywhere on earth outside of the country you live in, where would that be? 

Wait, is this broad? Because continent wise I would choose Europe. But for country, I think I would have to say England. I've also been dying to go to Iceland. 

2. If you woke up tomorrow with a brand new singing voice, who’s would you want?

LP's! I would die to have her kind of range. 

3. If you could do one thing as well as you did it at 13, what would it be?

Mmm... exercise haha... I was so in shape at thirteen. If I had my old gymnastics talent back, that'd be great.....

4. What’s your favorite childhood toy?

Mine? I think I would have to go with barbies. I had so many barbies. 

5. If you had to rename yourself RIGHT THIS SECOND before going into witness protection, what name would you choose? 

I really like the name maggie or sophie, but I want those for my kids, and I don't feel like they fit me. I also like the name Eleanor. 

6. If you could go to the Oscar’s as the date of ANY actor (in a friendly nonromantic way) who would you choose?

Does it have to be nonromantic? ;) Lee Pace. Definitely Lee Pace. 

7. If you could spend a day as a close friend visiting from out of town of any characters on any of your favorite TV shows, who would you choose? 

Leslie Knope. For sure. 

8. If you could magically grow any plant just by touching the ground with your pointer finger on your right hand, what plant would you want to plant? Plant. 

Lilies. 

9. Unlimited printer ink or unlimited olive oil? 

Printer Ink. That shit's expensive. 

10. If you had to take an hour long bath in a vat of anything OTHER than water, what would you choose?

Mmm, maybe Peanut Butter? But that would be hard to come off....

11. The worst question I’ve ever heard, and one I have no good answer for: Would you rather eat all the hair out of someones drain or drink a gallon of their saliva? *runs screaming away*

Hahahahhah, oh my god, WHY. I guess drink a gallon of their saliva. But my GOD. Don't ever put me in that situations.

My breakfast plan A went kaput but I found chewy sweet tarts in my back pack, so I'm good. 

Also, I'm not studying for my art history exam and I really should be.... Hm.

Yesterday, during lunch, I went out to shoot the last few exposures on my last film before class. I decided to go to the Fountain Street Church because it has the most beautiful architecture and stained glass windows ever. I just walked into the sanctuary and snapped a few pictures. There was an older man working, but I paid him no heed. 

After I shot my last image, the man walked up to me, and he asked me if I wanted him to turn down the lights to get the stained glass in its full beauty. He then continued to tell me the history of the church (he had been working and helping the church for at least 40 years) and just really fascinating stuff. He also knew photography, so he asked me what I was shooting with and everything. It was just a great experience. When you take a few minutes to explore and listen, you can come across real beauty. The man told me to come back and shoot more some time, so I can accurately capture the stained glass. I intend to.
