The Best Character of all time, ladies and gentlemen ✨️HER✨️
Her expressive eyes and tormented gaze have charmed me. What a character, what an actress. Memorable performance 👏

“I am a different person to different people. Annoying to one. Talented to another. Quiet to a few. Unknown to a lot. But who am I, to me?”

“You will never be free until you free yourself from the prison of your own false thoughts.”

An 8 year-old Friedrich Nietzsche was asked to explain to his mother why he had painted his sister, Elisabeth, without her head. His response was: “Because that’s what she should lose, to come alive.”
“Don’t think about what can happen in a month. Don’t think about what can happen in a year. Just focus on the 24 hours in front of you and do what you can to get closer to where you want to be.”
— Eric Thomas
“To have someone understand your mind is a different kind of intimacy.”

The stolen glances. The realization. Oh PEAK YURI 😩🤌

I do feel like Homelanders interactions with Ryan and the Deep hit on those theories of humanity that ive mentioned a lot. Because with Ryan, and Soldier Boy also, it shows despite obtaining "Godhood", deep down, what Homelander REALLY wants is human connections. Genuine affection and love, but he's too messed up to realize it. So, he keeps looking for any remaining human connections he might still have despite SAYING he doesnt need anyone. And I think him dismissing the Deep shows that more. Because if eh REALLY wanted godhood and to be worshipped, He'd LOVE the Deep smmetaphorciailly sucking him off and being a sycophant. But he doesn't. Because deep down, he knows its all false praise and thats NOT what he actually wants. He wants GENUINE praise and acknowledgement. He says once to Starlight that he'd be happy being feared if he couldn't be loved, but honestly, I think that was a bluff. He'd RAGE and lash out but afterwards He'd just be empty with no one to care about him.
Honestly, with how far he's fallen, he proves all he wanted was SOMEONE to like him. Only for everyone to come to hate him. And THAT'S a fitting way to write this absolute bully.
