JUPE is owned and managed by Magherafelt’s Damien Devlin. JUPE is a safety-centric, CAA Licensed and PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operations) working in aerial photography and video in Northern Ireland and Great Britain. With the current boom in drone usage throughout the country, many amateur and hobbyist users are attempting to conduct commercial operations. These operators are working outside the law and the safety regulations governing drone usage for commercial operations.
JUPE operators have been trained to the highest UK Standards by leading NQE (National Qualified Entity) RUSTA, who provide training above and beyond UK requirements. This provides reassurance to our clients of professional conduct and the highest levels of health and safety compliance.

Award-winning Photographer, Fergal Kearney has been in the business for 30 years and uses professional Nikon DSLR Cameras and Lenses for all his commissions. Damien Devlin has been using drones for personal and hobby purposes for many years and has now gained full CAA licensing to operate drones commercially in Northern Ireland and Great Britain.
JUPE currently operate two drone aircraft, A DJI Mavic Pro (pictured) and DJI Phantom 3. Both aircraft are operated within all current health and safety regulations and are covered by public liability insurance of up to £1million.These small, light-weight, but extremely powerful aircraft are designed for maximum manoeuvrability and can get up close for detailed shots of any environment. Damien is a skilled operator, piloting this tiny aircraft even when it seems to be out of sight to the viewer. The images below capture Damien taking the shots for the video at the top of this article, at the beautiful Church Island near Bellaghy.

The camera on board is also great at capturing high resolution stills photography. On its journey over the County Derry/Londonderry countryside, these stills were captured showing the vast expanse of the Strand at Lough Beg, the configuration of the buildings at the 17th century Bellaghy Bawn and the extensive earthworks at the A6 Dualling Scheme at Castledawson.
