Kicked off in Frankfurt for the m31 european day of action against capitalism. London loads of workfare pickets happened direct action everywhere.
So it's official im mental, lately i have started to actually get help so that i have a chance of being in a consistent state of okayish happiness or something for the future. From now on i should be able to properly live my life.
I don't care if you feel that the alter globalization movement should be confined to the history books i still legitly wish massive anti-summit mobilizations still happened.
Book 1998 BOOK 1 PAGE 11 and 12 think this was from Australia’s Four in a Row Magazine.. Marco Hintze had the ill spins before anyone. Excerpt:
When I started traveling for skating in the mid-90’s I kept journals. During that time, I made a total of 40+ journals filled with sketches, magazines clippings, and just about everything that influenced me at that particular time. Looking through them now—nearly 15 years later—caught me off guard. There are tons of great deals in them, so I decided to scan and share them with everyone. The first book I dug up was from 1998. It has a green cover with an old England Clothing and Rise Above Clothing sticker on it.
Amazing i have this copy of dna mag issue 2 i believe?
Focal Point
Like many of the people that follow me on here i have been somewhat cynical about the contribution of Christian kids to the 90's hardcore scene. Christian metalcore for me has always equalled pure fucking cheese and fucking stupid crabcore riffs. But there are a few exception to the rule, notably other than focal point excessive force were christian and sounded hard as nails. Anyway Focal point were a band from cali and were around in the mid 90's and released a surprisingly really good record. The suffering of the masses for Christian hardcore record is actually quite dark sounding and deals with some quite intense subject matters. Also before you ask i have no idea whether they were prolife or not but anyway here it is. The question is really is how did they go from this to awful bands like demonhunter etc as in typical christian crap metal.

best show i've been to in quite a while.
Another important influential character in my life. Bryan Jagger's blading was just flawless shame his knees gave way....
the 90's was an important era for another reason too. jay dick being on inline skates.
part hardcore, part nu metal part hilarious completely amazing disembodied.
Ok get ready for another piece of lolz. Lately as im slowly transcending my youthful era of my life i have been thinking more and more about the big picture. I have come to the personal conclusion that probably in reality both could be equally wrong. The inconsistency of religion in the various…
I think it depends on definitions. I don’t believe in any god, therefore I am categorically not a theist. Which makes me an atheist. But I think it’s possible to be agnostic at the same time. I don’t know, I pretty much take the Bertrand Russell/teapot stance. Also I think it’s possible to benefit from aspects of spirituality without actually believing in it on an intellectual level. I find some folklore/mythology to be emotionally healing, in the same way I’ve found other fiction to be emotionally helpful and healing. Which some people think devalues it. But those people are wrong/don’t value fiction enough.
Well yeah im pretty flip floppy in self definition i guess im an agnostic who more than likely reckons there's no god but thinks that an afterlife whatever it maybe is a nice idea like a pyramid scheme. to be honest i think the cosmic teakettle deal is a valid philosophical point on religion but i think it's more about leaving the option open like. I find it odd how this issue has come up alot in my life like a suprising amount which im starting to realise is might be abit weird im not sure. I think my reasoning and my emotional nostalgic side of me don't correlate therefore im finding the thought of impermanent consciousness as we know as a thing hard to let go of. But i also try and comprehend what it's like to be nothing (mad i know!) That being said agnosticism bordering on indifference is probably where most stand and the same for me when im not having an episode like. I literally dunno what to think but i find it weird that people can be sure of stuff that can never be recorded or experience in a manner that we can all sit down and analyze. Whilst time is infinite and space too that could lead to infinite possibilities of potential lives and afterlives maybe but then again these possibilities could in reality only feature in our imaginations. I find certain bits of fiction healing and nice too...people should value that too,,
The dogma of atheism and religion really grind me down..
Ok get ready for another piece of lolz. Lately as im slowly transcending my youthful era of my life i have been thinking more and more about the big picture. I have come to the personal conclusion that probably in reality both could be equally wrong. The inconsistency of religion in the various books of the bible have always left me skeptical that we have the ability to transcend this current consciousness. This could be all there is which is fine but kind of intense well the thought of eternal death as nothingness is as intimidating as eternal life too in some respects. Science wise religion has rarely been able to bother to fit itself into it so keeps the same outdated world view likewise with it's morals although the quakers and some others have managed to move on from that. Yet science is not infallable either but alot of people treat it like it can never be wrong at all, yet science is corrected and changed all the time. People constantly yap on about yeah mate religion is this it's that like it seems like a hobby to disprove it all. It seems that like religious people atheists think or know that they are right when infact truth is a very subjective and personal reality. Atheists state that they know everything about the earth's origins well they probably factually do on this point but they also say that they know exactly what happens upon death nothing. But how can they know that? No one can as truth and real facts have to be experienced since you cannot report back post death these theories of eternal death like eternal life are mere theories. These are both quite hierarchical and very dogmatic, let people find out. We should in reality take the humble position that we cannot know either way not to say that scientists whoever they maybe shouldn't bother trying to do so. Life is impermanent and therefore we should celebrate the lives we live and stop with this pointless stuff. Agnosticism in reality is probably the position for the philosophically savvy!! Enjoy life Atheists and religious folk because before you know it you will be old and ready to leave.

Wait...what?
I was thinking alot lately about the importance of having dominion over media. This power comes with money and so it seems quite obviously the rich can dictate the output of news. Take for example animal rights movement especially around the issue of vivisection. This practice of testing on non human animals is entirely flawed scientifically and really cruel. Yet it carries on for no good reason other than because of funding etc. When most are confronted with these facts all believe that this practice should be stopped by any means. So these companies that pour bleach down the necks of innocent dogs and yet somehow can be painted as the victims of the actions of 'nutters'. I think when people see that footage of that poor dog getting punched in HLS they would act. The control of the media has meant that these companies have managed to paint people who are acting out of compassion as evil people. It's so weird. It's just like say when the news talks about violent protest and by doing so also help revise history which says nothing was achieved by abit of forceful direct action. Everything was achieved by mellow a to b marches and nothing in between. There's a reason why the police use the threat of violence to uphold the law because it's effective and yet no one ever really seems to question the violence of the state in the media although that is slowly changing. Issues of the media being controlled and funded by capitalist moguls and the state shows us more than ever the importance of independent media.
