Anyway if there's anyone stumbling on this, friend or stranger, yes I'm still alive. Still technically available for stuff. Not sure where to go with this place just yet. (Also there's a shit ton irl that I'm trying to get done)

Normally I'd go spelunk the 'insert-fandom rp' tags and see if I could drum up something to do, but it just feels like rp in general and how writing partners are found/made on tumblr has changed in a way I'm honestly not keen on, hard to describe. That or just died, at least when compared to when I came into it... or I just have no idea where to look or post promos. That is also 1000% possible :P

Anyway still love my little weirdo. Just have nothing to really do with her currently. Also still love my new little WWM weirdo. That boy has taken a lot of brain space too. And dammit I love 'Esie's' wmm version too (the verse would require a few tweaks to her norms that would include her name). Lol too bad there's prob not an rp scene for that.. not that I'd be able to break in, I think most would reject her concept as too outlandish 🥲.

Anyway I've rambled enough. I hope to find something to do here again, someday. Or at least in rp in general.

((New boi (Jian) is still living rent free in my head so I drew him or tried to. ...And indeed, there absolutely is a gameplay misadventure-related story behind that bottom pic lol... .. And yes Esie still exists as much as ever. I made her as close as I could (because full-range hair color items are locked behind an insurmountably massive gacha paywall, so the best I'm likely to be able to do is kinda dirty-blonde) in WWM as well and you bet your ass she now has a loose verse for that bouncing around my highly defective brain cage too. Funniest aspect of that? to maintain her 'is short' trademark, WWM Esie would likely be even smaller than her normal 5ft self, because average heights were generally a good deal lower in the 10th century.

For once, things had been peaceful over the past few weeks, Estelle's days had been filled mainly with housekeeping about the manor - the role she was most used to, and technically the only role she was supposed to serve. What had seemed a daunting task when she'd first been put to work now proved far preferrable to sudden flights into the Sahara, or dodging and catching bullets. Though the sudden lull did give rise to a certain paranoia over when the next proverbial shoe would drop, she couldn't help but count her blessings as she sat, taking her assigned break by her window. Yes, it was rather nice to actually be able to enjoy the generally pleasant company of the younger brother, who even she had to admit was almost equally a friend as much as an employer. Very nice, indeed. ... ...until it wasn't... Coffee spluttered from her mouth in an explosively undignified display, spattering across the small table as she simultaneously coughed violently, and scrambled for a napkin to clean up the aftermath. The thought of the extra work the maid had just created for herself wasn't lost on her, but needless to say it paled in comparison to what she just heard. "I - I'm sorry, sir..??" She wheezed. An entirely reflexive question, but oh how she wished it wasn't. No, somewhere deep down in her subconscious, she knew what had been brewing in the boy's head, she had just instinctively hoped, maybe a little too earnestly, that it would stay there.

"I was under the impression that the young master is terribly allergic to cats - and an asthmatic, at that." Estelle noted with a chilled sort of dispassion, leveling a sidelong glance at the demon. She had to admit that fondness for cats was something they shared, but willfully exposing a child who was known to be allergic and otherwise of compromised health was a cruel concept. But this was of course not surprising in the least, given the nature of the creature beside her... and it wasn't as though it mattered in the end. The boy had doomed himself to this and far worse risks long ago. Tragic though the Earl's fate would be, she couldn't afford to lament too much over such a thoroughly lost soul. One of those rare, unsettlingly impish smiles slowly turned the corners of her lips, white fangs peeking just slightly from beneath them, threatening to turn it into a grin. "...Or is that part of the goal? Has a child really worn down the patience of such a great and ancient demon so quickly?" Thin fingers resumed leisurely strokes across the cat's sleek back, who seemed content that at least some of the strange she-beast's attention was back in the right place.

((I have nothing to do here but in other news I have become a victim of Where Winds Meet and accidentally triggered OC brain in the process. Everyone meet Jian.

I don't think I'm going to rp with him or anything, but I don't care. Look. Look at him. I love my (apparently-sleep-challenged) son.

Yes I have an extremely loose concept for him, still WIP since I'm super early in the game so we'll see where the probably pretty convoluted story goes. But so far something in the "cursed/traumatized/soul-weary but still kind/ 'understand the violence it took to become this gentle' " box is what showed up in my head... which, coincidentally, seems to actually kinda fit the vibe of the game's one-size-fits-all main character, particularly via the male version, for the most part, and I'm unreasonably happy about it. lol This was all actually a lowkey comedic choice in part tho, because I'm the one playing him and I'm uncannily bad at games so bro is doomed to ✨suffer✨. 😂 ...Why am I posting all this here? cause I literally got nowhere else to screech about this lol. idk, drawings may occur in the future, we'll see. Just wanted to show off my latest mentally-created child lol.

He didn't think that they danced that much better than the others, but humans liked to judge themselves on scales that meant little to him.

"Or is my Lady beginning to grow tired? They have been playing rather lively music for a while now, and it cannot be easy to move around in such a large dress either. Do let me know if you require a break".

Estelle grit her teeth behind her lips. He wasn't wrong. This was entirely why she'd been roped into this mess, why she found herself here in the most ostentatious gown yet. "I know that..." She hissed quietly, only just loud enough for him to hear. And yet the knowledge did little to extinguish the old anxiety that still plagued the woman. The bastard wasn't wrong about that either - shy she was. A few centuries avoiding nearly all forms of attention like it were a carnal sin was never going to prepare her for gatherings of this magnitude, much less for the practice of intentionally luring eyes in such a manner. To the human eye they may be captivating, but it was still all she could do just to keep up, all those lessons proving her only saving grace as her cheeks burned away. Estelle was wishing dearly for a more solid mask by now... That is, until he spoke again. He was baiting her. Oh, how she knew that. And how she should take care in rising to it - but wasn't letting him take too many liberties also foolish? Neither would matter, yet again, she couldn't help herself. Crystal eyes sharpened, attention roaring back to him. Movements intensifying, skirts whirling, she drew in even more scandalously close than before. All but daring him to match her. "...Don't be a fool."

"Then please do not worry. I shall make sure that a costume is prepared in time for this evening". Not that he'd already had one made before now, of course not. Maybe he had a little too much fun with teasing her at times, but if she was willing to allow him this much freedom - who wouldn't take advantage of the situation? And sure, she was to stay out of the way for the majority of the night, but that was only after the 'public' side of the meeting was over with. The Boss liked to show off when he had an audience.

"I'm glad that the kitchen did not suffer too much damage either. I do not know how they happen to keep finding such troublesome tools", he sighed, shaking his head slightly, before pulling out a small notebook and looking over the list of tasks that had yet to be finished. If there weren't so many mistakes, he was sure that they'd have been finished long ago. "I think I'll take over the kitchen for now. I leave the dinning hall in your capable hands. I'll have the costume sent to your room once it has arrived too. We have a little over three hours - thank you for your help". With a hum he walked quickly in the direction of the kitchen, pausing for a moment to ask a passing servant to have the costume sent to the correct room. With their deadline fast approaching - there wouldn't be that much of a chance for her to back out of this either.

Punctuality wasn't exactly what concerned her most about this costume that would await her. But alas, this was her job and it was only one night. With a subtle sigh, she put the matter out of her mind in favor of the tasks still at hand. One thing they did have in common presently was the for the moment mild frustration at how much there still was to do. Even now, as she set about adeptly transforming the hall left to her, she knew better than to expect to do so in peace. And her expectations wouldn't go unfounded. She would succeed in her work, the receiving spaces left dripping with uncannily enchanting ambience, but - thanks to a number of further near-disasters little snags from her coworkers - in twice the time such feats would normally take her... So roughly average for this household. But now, the time was upon her. No stalling to be had. Entering the room provided for her to dress in, she could only wonder drearily at what the demon had decided to transform her into. Some ridiculous mascot suit? Perhaps a clown-? Her thoughts stopped short at the first sight of the horned headband. ...Well. She couldn't help but admit it; he'd managed to surprise her. Really, Estelle wasn't sure how to feel at the moment, laying the hairpiece aside and examining the skirt, it.. was admittedly a fine piece of work, there was no denying that. She took it into her hands, fingers appreciating the sumptuous ruffles - until they found the hitched front.... the concerningly short hitched front. And the stockings clearly meant to be seen... and that corset - that corset. Outrage threatened to explode from her - just what kind of spectacle was he trying to make of her?? And ONLY her - Mey's costume was far more modest - ! No. No, she'd already scolded herself many times for this, she would watch her temper. She could do that much, AND she'd be damned if she let that bastard win. This was a challenge, just another petty little challenge. He must expect her to throw a fit and bleat for a replacement like a petulant child. Well she would give him no such satisfaction! With a defiant air sharpening her movements, she caste off her humble uniform, and threw on the whole infernally scandalous ensemble as if it were routine. Hearing the approach of familiar footsteps, she finished the final adjustments on the corset and awaited inspection - a little room left at the waist, but cinched down well within 'fashionable' levels, in her opinion.

They wanted a demon, a shameless demon she would be.

Of course when it came to important holiday celebrations through the year, his young master was expected to host impressive dinner parties. This had meant that the entire mansion had been on edge for the last few days as they got the decoration ready for Halloween, Sebastian having to spend time fixing them whenever one of the others would break something or put them in the wrong place. Right now, he setting the dinning table, glancing up as his most reliable help entered the room, a small smirk forming as he returned to work, "Are you finished already? We have a very important guest attending this dinner", he paused then, before flashing her another smile, "Oh, and I recommend you stay out of the way as much as possible after our meal service has finished. The master will be quite busy with that guest". Humming innocently, he finished setting the rest of the cutlery, "Ah yes, and you need a costume too. Wish for me to have one made for you?".

A heavy sigh was breathed as she pressed a corner of white apron to her brow. Wicking away the sweat that last close-call had earned her - where did he even get that 'flamethrower' or whatever it was the 'chef' had called it??? That would be the third apocalypse avoided so far - and the clock had yet to even strike noon. It was days like this she had to cling to the 'bright' side of things - like imagining the aftermath had she not managed to thwart her coworker's attempts to 'help'. Estelle settled temper before entering the dining room, in preparation to deal with who she could sense beyond the door. "I am aware, and I have - I am also relieved to report that the kitchen is still intact." She replied evenly. The maid stayed silent as he went on, stubbornly impassive to his smiles, but managing a decent impression of respect. Though she had to stifle the urge to scoff at the advice to stay scarce - any servant who didn't know that much wasn't worth her salt. Although his stressing the matter did have her wondering if the master's 'business' with their guest would be of that nature, again... She just had to remember that denizens of man's 'underworld' often deserved whatever fate they met. Violent delights. Violent ends - And none of her business. But ah, there it was.. she knew things had been going too smoothly with the demon lately. Her nerves tightened the slightest bit at that last 'request'.. which likely wasn't really a request at all. Estelle had to wonder, with a hint of almost childish despair, if she really needed to submit to such a requirement if she was supposed to make herself scarce outside of a dinner service likely managed mostly by the butler himself. If their guests were to hardly see her, then who on earth was she dressing up for?? But alas, orders were orders... "I suppose that would be best..." She conceded with a sigh. "I certainly haven't anything suitable to throw together, nor the slightest idea for a costume if I did.. Do what you will."

"...don't waste energy on talking either". How could she think that he'd be doing something like this while not knowing what he was doing? Like he decided to safe her life, just to then mess up removing a bullet and watching her bleed out in his arms instead? Though, he suppose she wasn't to know of the dangerous situations he'd been through, of the times he'd needed to remove such things from his own flesh...thankfully a rare occurrence, but not a pleasant one. "...just stay still". He wasn't the most caring of men - or at the very least he wasn't good at showing how much he cared. To him, the fact he'd pulled her to safety and sent his men after their attacker was more than enough prove that he at least minded if she where to die, but if didn't much matter if she saw it that way or not. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a small case, flipping open the mid to show a few medical instruments.

"Try not to make too much noise, there may be some still lurking - this will hurt", he paused, "But I'll be careful". With that, he gently held her arm still with one hand, as he worked on carefully digging out the bullet with the other, frowning slightly in concentration as he worked.

There'd be no arguing from her. Even if she wanted to - and if she had the energy - she had to agree with him that it would be a risk and waste. Whatever she had left would be needed to manage the ordeal she was staring down now.

The forceps earned a sharp intake of breath, but no sound - thankfully. A small victory. It was hard to say why, but aside from possibly alerting any lurking stragglers, to show that level of weakness to him was still something she couldn't quite stomach. Besides, she was going to need all the breath she could get. To keep the darkness encroaching threateningly on the edges of her vision at bay. Breathing, and the bitter fight to not pass out would become the only distractions for her to cling to. To say Estelle had built up an impressive pain tolerance over the course of her earlier life (and a bit of this one, to be fair) would be a considerable understatement. But while she'd taken her fair share of hands and fists, sharp force was something she was, admittedly, less accustomed to. A few minutes that felt like hours later of gritting her teeth so hard she almost feared they'd crack, she finally felt a lull in all of the stinging. "Did you find it..?"
