gentle reminder that, while we the vsmp fandom are rightfully upset about the whole Avid Situation, we still need to understand that completely erasing v!avid in our general fandom goings on but PARTICULARLY in character analysis might not be the best idea. For as darkly humorous as art pieces of the cast with what i can only describe as censor bars are, it does a disservice to our beloved characters and the people who put so much love and attention into them to pretend that they're interactions with v!avid had no value or bearing on ther character. i'm not saying you have to make avid-centric content you don't want, (i personally am dealing with some feelings about planned fics that i might want to rework) but i am saying that we shouldn't erase the nuance of other characters.
this is especially important when it comes to the stories of v!Drift and v!Shelby, as cutting v!avid from their stories erases major chunks of motivation, nuance and depth from characters that are already ignored, declawed and mischaracterized due to fandom's raging misogyny problem.
