Good morning brothers and sisters! WE MUST APOLOGIZE
Matthew 5:23-24 CEV
[23] So if you are about to place your gift on the altar and remember that someone is angry with you, [24] leave your gift there in front of the altar. Make peace with that person, then come back and offer your gift to God.
One of the hardest words to say is, "I'm sorry." Yet a sincere apology reflects the humility of Christ.
When we have hurt someone through our words, actions, or attitudes, God calls us to seek reconciliation rather than ignore the offense.
Apologizing is not a sign of weakness, it is a sign of spiritual maturity. Pride resists admitting wrong, but humility opens the door to healing, restored relationships, and peace. Even if we did not intend to hurt someone, acknowledging their pain and asking for forgiveness demonstrates Christ-like love.
Brethren, let's not let pride keep us from making things right. If the Holy Spirit brings someone to our mind, let's take the first step because a heartfelt apology can mend broken relationships and glorify God.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, give us a humble heart that is quick to admit when we are wrong. Help us to seek forgiveness, restore broken relationships, and reflect the love and grace of Jesus in all we do. In Jesus' name, Amen.
