welcome to ferrariisms :)

hi! i’m finn, this is my writing blog! some basic info:

my main blog where i like and follow from is @superstar49; feel free to check it out and follow me there as well!

while my blog is majority ferrari themed, do not expect my works to be constrained to f1, or even to sports in general! i plan to write a lot of hockey and f1 fics, with maybe some basketball and other things in the future, but i also intend to write for other fandoms such as 5 seconds of summer and one direction. i write a lot of works with original characters, but if that’s not your jam, i will write plenty of rpf as well! my goal is to cover a lot of different bases and just write whatever i want to write. this is just a creative outlet for me and i want to have fun with it, and i just hope other people will enjoy what i make along the way.

i don’t take requests at the moment, but that might change in the future so keep an eye out.

summary: In New Jersey, everyone is learning things about each other, and Benny is trying to avoid learning things about himself. Luke Hughes is even more nosy than his mother, Jack just wants Benny to be happy, and Benny just wants everyone to leave him alone, because he knows what he's doing.

Hockey freaks thoughts on Heated Rivalry:

Mack: Didn’t know about it until Scotty asked him if he wanted to watch and then he was hooked. He likes laughing at Scotty’s faces during the sex scenes. Wants more goalie content though

Scotty: Watched the first episode and had to immediately get all the books. Her and Mack watch it together and she hates waiting for him when he’s on the road because she wants to watch the next episode. Got most of the other freaks to watch it bc they didn’t know about it.

Benny: Loves that this could help pave the way for more people to get into hockey and maybe to help start the conversation about players coming out

Bedsy: This hockey is not accurate but holy shit that guy looks like Benny 😳 Also may feel a little personally attacked by Scott Hunter

Xander: it’s whatever. His favorite character is Ilya and he sees himself a lot in Shane but like that doesn’t mean anything. Kinda wishes that Ilya was Swedish instead of Russian tho but that doesn’t mean anything.

Isak: is this fucking play about me???? Watching in secret, tells no one

Bonus!

Fish: The intimacy between Ilya and Shane really gets to him. Especially in the moments where one wants more but the other keeps pulling away. Cried at the “we didn’t even kiss” bc it hit too close to home and he had to go take a walk after that

Sport

Benny sighs through his nose, but tries to be a good sport about it, opening his mouth enough for Bedsy to see his teeth. Connor uses the hand on Benny’s jaw to turn his head to the left and then the right, and then brings his other hand up to lift his top lip.

He winces. “Doesn’t look good,” he observes.

“You’re joking,” Benny says, only it comes out a little weird because Bedsy’s still got his fucking fingers in his mouth.

this is from a future chapter of trust somebody! it’s not the next chapter but i think it’ll probably be the one after.

as promised, here are the halloween costumes @doodleddaisies and i decided on:

benny: johnny storm

scotty: bucky barnes

mack: superman

xander: spiderman

bedsy: lebron james but not even a real costume just a lebron jersey and lakers yellow shorts

we loved the idea of the freaks all being unrelated superheroes and bedsy doing an extremely low effort costume. as we now know from the fact that he third wheeled frank and his girlfriend’s costume, this is very accurate.

heyyyy guys sorry for the wait on this one. life has been kicking my ass and this chapter just did NOT want to be written. i fear i am not made to write filler chapters. with that in mind i probably won’t write much for after christmas and through new years (maybe a short snippet at the beginning of the next chapter) but i’ve been thinking of doing a collection of extra scenes either here or on ao3. y’all let me know if you’d be interested in something like that, and i hope y’all enjoy this chapter!

summary: Benny runs into a Vitamin D deficiency and a nasty scoring drought while worrying about his midterms and whether he's going to get to see his family this Christmas. He's never been very good at asking for help, and eventually Bedsy has to step in. For the good of the team, of course.

little mini update for y’all! i’ve got a cute holiday chapter coming up but it’s pretty long and it’ll be a while before it’s posted so i broke off this beginning bit and posted it to tide y’all over until then. it’s a little heavier in the beginning than i think we’ve seen in this fic but not too bad; more detailed warnings are in the fic notes.
