⭐️The Chatterjees hail from New York, where their family has been staying for three generations now after having migrated from India! So much for being original...
⭐️They're both staying with Deviya Chatterjee, Tika's mama and Mini's Masi (Auntie). Mini's momma, Myra, is Devi's sister and they have....an estranged relationship to say the least.
⭐️Sure, their Ma moved for work but that's def not the end all be all. The two are totally hush hush about it. Makes you wonder if there isn't something darker going on, huh?
⭐️Not that it matters! These two are more interesting! Sorry Qiu, these two have a little cult- CLUB of their own. Okay, they totally just call it a cult. Bow down to Lady Bubblegum, the pink stuffed cat!!!!! If you're pretty or easy to push around, they may even let you join >:3
⭐️Mini and Tika are incredibly whimsical tricksters who love nothing more than having fun. Magic is in every part of the world to them and who doesn't love a good prank? Even if they take it a bit far sometimes. They're always sorryyyyy!!!...Kindaaaa!!!
⭐️Tika on her own has always loved socializing more than anything. Though pink and glitter and clothes and cute people are up there too. She's used to being praised by everyone around her and has always gotten...special treatment. Even if it wasn't always good for her. It's hard being such a cute thing! At least she gets away with everything she wants! Moving to Golden Grove, while she misses her daddy, is just an opportunity to be even more popular than she was at home! This cult is open for new members, just follow her lead always💕
⭐️Pavi, on the other hand, would rather just not deal with people. His own parents were pretty religious themselves and even though he can't live with them anymore and will not be assigning himself to Catholicism, you've never met someone more faithful. Tika thinks all this magic stuff is fun, Pavi takes it seriously! He's very knowledgeable on all of it and is trusted to handle the technical work it takes to run this club. He's not the most...friendly or chatty little boy but he's definitely an interesting one! To bad he's not happy about this "new town business" and has no issue hiding it. He WILL hiss at you and you will be tricked 💜
⭐️These cousins are besties who compliment eachother in every way possible. Tika's emotion and charm works perfectly with Pavi's calmness and observance. Not that they don't have anything in common. Pink hair, cranberry eyes with hearts (or one in some of out cases) and...catlike behaviors? Plus a love for Halloween and girly fashion! Ma lets Pavi dress however even as a boy...("a boy", yeah right! she'll realize later🌈)
⭐️It's hard to say whether these two are really evil demons (and cat hybrids) like they claim to be or if they're just silly rule breaking little kids with a pink cat plushy. They aren't malicious, not really! They only wanna have fun! Anyone willing to get close to these two eccentric babies will realize that. Maybe it'll be someone or someones in this teeny tiny little town who see how caring they really can be....

Lol i always Say this around step 2 wich is funny bc i should rememeber to do It SOONER. but leo was born afab, he just chose to change this at a very young age. Even though his mom couldnt get it completely she didnt make him hide how he felt. Now, leos family doesnt have a Lot of money, so such thing as hormonal treatment won't come by fast
Step 2 leo is someone quite different in personality compared to the previous one..! Kinda! Growing up he realized people do not relate sensitivity with bravery, and at the end of the day thats the only thing he wants to be, right? Someone strong! It's not like he fakes who he is, not at all. It's more like just..emphasizing the best parts of yourself and ignoring the rest. He doesnt feel Comfortable expressing sadness, Even though he can't completely grasp why people do it, he can tell it makes them look down at him, and the only thing he doesnt want to be seen as is small.
Leo is, ironically in the closet with everyone around him. When You grow up being treated like just a man all your life, it's a bit shocking when all your Friends start growing different than You. In a way this Made him panic to a point of overdoing himself Even more with the fear of someone doubting who he is. Its not just out of fear towards his Friends, he's actively trying to ignore the fact that not being cis might actually make his life harder in the future
On a more lighter note, he's very into theatre. Theres something so fun about being someone else for a while! He's very passionate about it, even if it's not something he would do as a job. Same with videogames, he's very into them. Especially the ones You would need to stare at a wiki for every 2 steps You make (like Terraria lmao)
Over the time he became very good at using his skateboard. Don't let his mom notice he's not using the helmet..it's for cool points, it's not like he Will crash his head or anything..! He thinks! Hopes!
He was always very good at cooking, though this is something he Will actively brush off as some basic skill he learned as a consequence of being alone at home. He actually enjoys it, he might just..feel like it's not as cool as skateboarding!
He has somee problems with studying. I mean, he always had. But now it might be because of how baaaadddly he organizes himself. Being fair he has a Lot of things to do during the day that leaves him really tired! Things he chose to get in of course! But if he didnt surround himself with fun extracurricular activities he might go mad. So.

Aheheh i forgot to add the little facts i wanted to share about him 😍 Smart man.
Leo came from a Big city after years of being a pretty isolated kid. It's not like he didnt get along with people, really! Or at least, he doesnt know Why people wouldnt want him around. Nobody ever said to his face he's annoying, so maybe it just felt weird because thats his relationships are.
As young as he is, really thinks everyone around him can be awesome, more awesome than him for sure. Growing up, he got to the conclusion That the Best way of making Friends it's always saying yes to everything people ask from him. Unless his mama says no! Well, most of the time.
As You could easily Guess he's obsessed over lions and the concept of being brave, thats something that really stuck with him since he was tiiiiny. With this also comes a Big love for animals, his bedroom it's full of animal toys all over that his mama collected for him over the years with so Much effort! They might not have a Lot of money, but they have all they need. Thats what leo thinks at least.
He is, indeed, a very easy crier. It's easy to get scared when You never got the chance to know about the real world yourself. Before Golden Grove, friendless little leo just spent his days playing alone in his room or bonding with his babysitter. But leaving his department? Not really, That never happened unless mom needed to get more food.
He was born with some grey hair, a genetic trait he inherited from his father. He doesnt like It a Lot, or at all. People called him a grandpa, but he's 10 years old! He couldnt possibly be a grandpa, that doesnt make any sense! Besides that, it's just sad he can't Match hair with his own mom that does so much for him.
His first days in Golden Grove were kinda hard, at least talking to people was. It's not like he's scared of PEOPLE! unless not people his age, You can't be a dangerous evil Big criminal at 10 years old, he hopes! But, His speech is somewhat delayed for his age. He tends to talk too fast, To intersperse words with others, to stutter...he might be just not used to so much attention. This also Made school really hard, but he's doing his Best like a good kid! At least You can't lower his grade for misbehaving.
