"You know, going to the beach still sounds like an awesome idea," Aspen suggested trailing off.
"You want to drive down to California still? I mean, we could do it if you really want to." Ferris said with a sad expression. The boy was still trying to get over the fact the police were so onto them that they couldn't stay in Vegas much longer.

I was just hiding from this dude upstairs, I have no idea who he is. I think it's the ghost in room 12B.
You’re really intimidating, has anyone ever told you that? If you were listening, you’d know that I still don’t care. Okay, everyone who’s met me. And what type of person do I look like to you?
Oh, I'm super intimidating. Look, I'm a great listener, and I can recall you saying that you don't care a couple of times. You seriously don't care, do you? I assumed you're the type of person who doesn't really give a shit so they attempt to make everyone else miserable because you're miserable. In truth you actually do care though, and so you end up becoming too soft and afraid of who you really are. That's just a rough estimate, though.
And let me guess, I don’t want to get on your bad side? Let me tell you something: I’m on everybody’s bad side. If you aren’t stealthy, then what are you?
You definitely don't want to. If you were listening you'd know that I'm the smart one. Everyone's? I wouldn't say that. You don't seem like that type of a person.
"Like comedian hilarious, you should try," a hiccup cuts her off but she continues anyways,"like stand up or somthing," She added with a grin. The girl hiccuped,"Yeah, well a few more inches would be greatly appreciated," She said, jumping at his touch. A giggle escaped her lips along with another hiccup. Aspen took a spoonful of sugar and put it on her tongue. She kept her mouth open, but managed to get out a distorted,"Is this right?"
"Why thank you, I try." He returned with a smirk. "I like you when you're short, then I can make fun of you as you struggle to reach things." He explained with a wink. "Yeah, but you're not supposed to talk while you do it. Leave it there for like ten seconds."
Aspen laughed,”Fun—” another hiccup struck,”ny.” Aspen looked up to where Ferris was pointing and stood on her toes to reach the sugar. “Why are people–”The girl pauses to hiccup once again,”so tall here,” She finished as she turned around towards Ferris and set the sugar down. She quickly grabbed spoon and played with the sugar,”Okay, so do I just put it in my mouth or…?” She trailed off.
"I know, I'm hilarious." He said with a quick wink headed her way. "Because, we were given HGH and we all became tall and burly. You were too cute to get injected with the hormones, so we didn't allow them to do it to you." The boy prodded poking at the girl's side. "Try to put it on the back of your tongue where the sour-sensing taste buds are." He guided her watching as she grabbed the spoon from the drawer.
No one is trying to sass anybody. I just don’t care if your smart or not. Because I don’t steal unless it’s necessary, or unless we’re on a heist. If I want to go into a liquor store for tequila, I’m going to pay for it.
Yeah, if you don't care then you're probably going to get on my bad side. You do you, nobody's going to stop you. I'm not even stealthy, so I don't try to steal.
Honestly, I don’t care if you’re logical or not. I just want to get some shots.
I'm smart, like really smart. I recommend you remember that the next time you try to sass me. Jace usually keeps a bottle of tequila in the lower drawer of his room, but that's only there for special occasions. Why don't you just steal a bottle from a liquor store, or something?
"Really? I should total " Aspen’s lips release another hiccup,"Do you know where the sugar is?"
"Second star to the right and straight on 'till morning." The boy teased patting her gently on the head. "Just kidding, it's the second shelf in that cabinet." He told her pointing to one of the cabinets in the large kitchen.
Aspen drank her glass of water quickly, but still hiccups,”Stupid body.”
"Put a spoonful of sugar on the back of your tongue to overload the nerves. Therefore it will stop the hiccups." He told the girl as he slid his way across the kitchen counter.
"——-Could you knock next time? That’d be great.."
I thought we came to an agreement that I could just come in at anytime if I was hiding from someone.
