hello besties (professional), in this day and age of bots how does one know when a commission inquiry is legit. i typically use paypal invoices to try and keep any Shenanigans from happening, but is this enough to actually prevent bots from doing harm?? i will admit i probably am not 100% up to date on what tricks they use outside of the classic phishing and the "send me money first" scams.

i also don't want to go based on vibes alone because that could easily apply to people who aren't great at technology/social media or whose english isn't great, and that would suck!
