This is like a little rant or call it whatever you want but am I the only one who gets pissed when the audience laughs at the wrong situations that are meant to be serious?

Example: Yesterday I saw Heathers in London and it was great, no question, but I got a little pissed during Kindergarten Boyfriend because the audience was laughing at some parts and,,,like,,,,wtf,,,??,,do,,you,,,,,even?,,,realize,,,she’s about,,,, to,, jump off,,,,,,a goddamn,,,,bridge,,???

I get that Heathers is a black comedy musical in general and that it of course mocks about serious topics but like,, Kindergarten Boyfriend is meant to be sad for real imo. .

I dunno maybe my dark humor tolerance isn’t as high as I thought it was but like– stahp
