The Deep Web Crisis (Evaluation Market)
For those of you who don’t know what the “deep web” is or “dark net” its a deep dark place on the internet only accessible by a certain browser with encrypted .onion URLs (ie wdf98y32te8fg234728374gf.onion). This internet is a prime place to sell illegal drugs, weapons, services and other things that if caught, could land you in prison for well...quite a long time. Recently the marketplace “Evolution Market” went down and supposedly the operators stopped all transactions and took off with all the Bitcoins ($12 million in U.S to be exact). Unfortunately that will tank the value of Bitcoin once the UK users wake up and realize what is happening and pull out (thats what....nevermind). Now for those of you who use the Deep Web, supposedly Middle Earth Marketplace is still running but obviously they don't have quite the inventory Evolution Market had, but its better than nothing. I am not sure why the operators would run with this money because i’m positive they would have made way more with transactions in the next months if they hadn't taken off. Maybe they will be back up and this is just a misunderstanding? Or they could have been in a tight spot... Regardless, its time to buy elsewhere and/or stop altogether and cash out on your Bitcoins.
This content has been deemed too controversial/problematic and thus unviewable by the U.S. government It challenges systemic oppression & identifies capitalism as the source. We won’t be having that.
Black out for CISPA.

Economic Ladder : Our Culture is Misleading
What is the goal of trying to become a millionaire or billionaire in today’s society? Because there’s obviously a certain imputes for this considering there’s this exponential wealth gap where there’s this little tiny minority of people who are holding nearly half the wealth in the United States. For most people the ideal is something along the lines of “never working another day in their life” or “living close to the beach” and even living in a house big enough to accommodate dozens of people and having that all for yourself. It’s a very individualistic ideal that is trying to be achieved. Though this idea is very strongly ingrained in our culture of trying to climb the economic ladder, the end goal does not seem to be any sort of fulfillment outside of a very materialistic very limited point of view. Unfortunately no matter how big your house is…you can only be in one room at a time, and no matter how fast or how nice your car is you still have to obey the laws of traffic and be mindful of other people driving. There seems to be a diminishing return here on the amount of satisfaction one can derive from simply the acquisition of money and resources. When people think of the happier moments of life, it doesn’t have much of anything to do with the size of their house, or the speed of their car. Yes that can add to an experience but unless you bring in other people or have something to use these items for you aren’t going to derive any satisfaction outside of this novelty burst of purchasing something new, this sort of addictive necessity of wanting to use your money just to use it. While everyone seems to talk about not having enough money, no one seems to talk about being satisfied with where they are at. I believe the ideal…the actual ideal is thinking “how much money do I need in order to do whatever it is I am passionate about?”. But this obviously will vary per person, this mentality of being out for yourself is a false idea, you cant be out for yourself… your happiness is absolutely dependent on all the other people in society. Now something to examine would be that is this an authentic desire? to obtain all these items that our culture tells us will make us happy? or is this desire made up, a construct, if you will, that is created by our society.

The Environment
In this environmental science class I feel like the only answer we are getting closer to is that we as humans need to kill ourselves to fix the problem. That sounds rough but that's what it comes down too, there really is no solving our problems when it comes to mass production and industrialization. For the U.S to be where they are today these processes needed to happen, otherwise we would be living like the Indians and we would be the ones being put in reserves. Realistically though any other nation probably wouldn't have the decency of even putting us in a reserve and we would more than likely just be killed off. I understand the risks of production, oil fracking and other things that could potentially harm the environment and people, but these are risks we should be willing to take to stay the power house that we are today. Stopping production will only slow down our progress and potentially put us at risk.
