The beginnings of something beautiful! How could i not post a sunset after a trip like this. Hopefully no-one minds- but, when every day ends in a red and yellow light show, it's impossible not to snap.

Running a holiday club at our church this school holidays presented me with the opportunity to give back using my photography. Showing this young girl a picture i took of her and seeing her smile is worth more than any amount of camera's / lenses / flashes or anything i could ever own... So glad i managed to get this shot of her stunning eye.

South Africa has the most incredible sun sets i have ever seen... The richness of colors and tones is phenomenal! Man how blessed i am surprises me day by day... Cannot wait to be going back to the Kruger National Park in a few weeks!

Don't do many self portraits but thought i'd give this one a whirl. The last few weeks have been quite tough so felt like doing a edit to how i felt and not how i thought i'd like to see myself..

Photo walking with a friend today at a local university lead to fun with random objects.. Sean spotted some grass that we went to town on!

While in the Kruger National Park 2 years ago i didn't take my DSLR out on the evening drive... Managed to snap off a few shots on my dads Canon PowerShot  SX40 HS. Man i love South Africa and our beautiful animal parks.

Not a recent picture at all... But one i still look at often and enjoy reediting and trying new things on... Quite a simple photo, nothing fancy, but something i really liked... A photo of a really great friend who loves photography more than most of the professionals i know. Our photo walk in green side, Johannesburg was really an awesome time.. I may or may not have gotten in the way of his shot to grab this one :P

Deciding to walk to the doctor this morning for a checkup i grabbed my camera and snapped a few 'silly' shots while i was walking and quite liked this one. The man ahead was limping on every step he took and it was quite moving when i thought i decided to walk and not take my brand new car 3km to the shops.. This man has a walking disability and most likely will never own another transportation system... Even something we consider to be simple like a bicycle..  It's his story i wish i could tell

Had the privilege of attending my cousins Marriage this weekend! Was such an awesome experience seeing an awesome family member so happy with someone else and starting a new life with them!

Sweeping through my photo’s lately I’m realizing how badly i miss original photography. Just walking and shooting and seeing what you can get. Non-posed. Not pre-lit. Just on the fly search for that photo… that day changer… I want that again! Tomorrow i photo walk!
