Was there any lists of the primarys in legacy nothing overly definitive but I remember finding a map that had some nanos placed around on it

Hey there so I was looking at the retro map today and noticed there were blue names. I was wondering if there was any reason they were written in blue? Thank you for your time and thank you for answering our questions :)

If you mean the blueish-greenish names, I believe those were characters we hadn't fully decided on including-- we knew we wanted them, but hadn't figured out a plot for them or a real place that they'd go

We put them down on the map as a temporary thing just to make sure we remembered we wanted them if we thought of something later lol

Hi, if you're reading this thanks you guys for getting me through highschool awhile back. But on the other hand, what was the plan for the missing heroes? Where they planned to be put in retro or was that just a legacy thing? Also can you spare this poor soul some art of Captain Melonhead?

I believe the missing heroes was a Legacy thing only.

And as far as I can tell, this is the only art for Captain Melonhead lol

I think he was just looking for a place to golf at a cool fancy club

Hey! I don't have any questions, but I wanted to say thank you to you and the whole team in general. All the ideas y'all had for legacy and the work you put in to retro was awesome!!! ^v^

thanks! we worked a lot to make fusionfall stuff that was both novel and engaging while also trying to make it in line with what we thought the original devs wanted fusionfall to be, if that makes sense

wish we had been able to do more but I'm proud of what we did, especially all the stuff right up near the end

We’re there any Sketches or Monkey and Agent Honeydew? yeah after we showed monkey for a legacy potd, we realized he looked more like a Smal

no Quackor, but here's some Monkeys

I think the bottom right drawing is the best of these. Feels like it's a good mix of the cartoon design, a real monkey, and a cool, appealing anime design

I need to go back and tag all these posts better so it's easier to find them lol

Any advice on how to adapt side profiles for characters? It's currently my biggest struggle with the style (aside hands)

The best FusionFall source for profile views is the loading screen artwork. My main takeaway is to always put noses higher than you think they should go, if you're used to drawing realistic human faces, lol

They're not exactly FusionFall style, but Midori Foo (the original artist) has a few illustrations in profile view that could serve as extra reference as well

If you study the way things are stylized between these two sources you should come out with an understanding of the general proportions and implied 3D form of the characters

Do you remember the story that was going to be on stormalaong harbor and also what does the Shmahara desert look like because i cant find anything of it online from chowder

stormalong was one of three general areas of the intended first expansion, and the main story there (I think, idk if I remember it 100% lol) was that the Puckerberries were trying to take over Bubbie (and Mojo Jojo was trying to get you to help, if he was your guide)

I believe the Shmahara desert only appears in the last episode of the show, Chowder Grows Up

forgot to add, if you remember, if they were planned NPCs, what was the delightful children's plot importance were/their questline?

I think I mentioned this before but I cant find it

it was a simple early joke idea so something else might've been done at a later point in development, but the idea we had was that they would have found Finn and Jake's treehouse, thinking it was a KND Treehouse, and then break in and demand the Kids Next Door come out and face them

...but the only one home is BMO, who doesn't understand the request. this is the only house around, there are no kids "next door"

it's cool that retro is playable again in some form, I wish there was a version with all our changes intact, though

they're free to make the changes they want obviously, it's their private server or whatever the technical term is lol, i just wish there was another one closer to our version available

that said i don't remember what changes they made specifically anymore lol

Were there any plans for Truffles, Benson and Skips in Retro?

I don't believe so

regular show would've just had mordecai and rigby, and chowder would've just had chowder, mung daal, and shnitzel
