The research bears out that their on positive benifits on an individual and societal level to keeping track of things we're thankful for. Here some pointers. I've been doing this with varying regularity over the years and have found it to be a really good backlog to have to look over. Though my poop journal is a lot more famous.
March 16, 2014
It felt like a lifetime ago the last time I had last felt this sand crumble beneath my feet or these waves crash along this shore.
I remember it all too clearly; that chill moonless night sitting on a rock at the edge of the void staring at a dark, clear, and insatiable sea beckoning me to give myself up to it. I didn't think I was suicidal, but there didn't seem to be a lot of hope to be grasped a, I was ill and I knew it but doctors didn't seem very concerned, and after years of searching I couldn't find a solution on my own.
I got up from that rock a very ago and mocked the sea saying "you have no hold on me!" But then my health got a lot worse for a long time.
It's the stark contrast between then and now that has prompted my pen to the page. I'm at the same beach but now it's a golden spring day rather than a dark october night. There's people swimming as opposed to emptyness. And I am getting stronger everyday.
macOS to Windows 10
I switched to windows at work about six months ago. I was tired of using my personal macbook air for work, but I also knew I was tired of trying to sync two computers. I thought that maybe having two different operating systems would relieve the sync stress, because it would be impossible for the two computers to be the same.
Now, how do I feel about the change?
Windows Subsytem for Linux is cool
I miss accessing my browser tabs from my phone
cross-platform software can be very different from one platform to the next (Skype and Evernote, I'm looking your way)
I am having a trick of a time trying to switch between macOS shortcut keys and Windows shortcut keys
I miss a few apps from macOS (Fantastical and Day One, I'm looking your way)
I can get work done just fine from Windows. That said, I am realizing that I would like to use software less, I am switching calendar and journalling to pen and paper (bullet journal style). Moving to Windows has moved me away from native apps and into webapps.
Why?
I have clearly seen from Apple that they don't care about desktop users. I want a computer that uses current generation hardware and with Windows (and linux, I just might go there yet), I can.
P.s. I'm still angry that Google killed the Sparrow mail client. It's unparalled in any platform.
If you want to be in shape, skip the 10K training and sprint—but don't jog—to the nearest weight room.
Studies have consistently shown that weight training and sprinting are more effective than running at targeting belly fat and creating a good hormonal environment for fat loss, meaning better insulin sensitivity, less of the stress hormone cortisol, and more growth hormone and testosterone. (Yes, that's a good goal for women, too.)
I don't ever run more than 10 consecutive minutes anymore and my physique has not suffered for it.
I bought a Canon G7X Mark II
Which is the short answer to the question: Which is the best camera?
I wanted to upgrade my camera, I started 14 years ago in photography with a Canon Powershot A95 point and shoot and quickly moved into the realm of DSLR's. A camera size which I travelled a lot with but quickly got tired of the weight. So I moved down, first a Lumix GF1, then a Fuji X100, then a Ricoh GR, I've been happy with the Ricoh for a lot of reasons, but ever since I started shooting more with my iPhone 7 I started to wonder why I would carry with me two cameras that could only do the exact same focal length...
I wanted a camera that first and foremost offered different shooting options from my iPhone. I secondly wanted something that offered high image quality. I thirdly wanted something that I would actually carry around. And fourthly, I've been spoiled by Apple's new memories feature, I wanted something decent at video.
Interchangeable lens cameras is where I first went. But the only option small and light enough for my liking was the Sony QX1, which is a camera I am still interested in, but has too many trade-offs to be my camera number one. I looked at the Lumix LX100 but opted against due to lack of image stabilization. I also thought my wife might not love how pro-level the menus are. There is the Sony RX100 series, which has a lot to offer, but is more costly.
Anyways. When I weighed everything together, I think the best camera you can get for your money is the new Canon G7X Mark II. It's small, feels nice in the hand, has optically stabilized video, selfie mode, wifi and USB charging which are all big pluses in my world. Now, I just need to take it out and use it...
Next I'm going to talk about home Wifi mesh network options...

Next time we discover one, maybe cops should show up and force them to take off their suit.

Regarding either cancer or terrorism, you have to deal with the underlying conditions that provoked the problem. Excising a terrorist cell or cancerous tumor is in itself lacking as a total solution.
Regardless, I'm sorry for the lives lost in Belguim, and sad for the numerous attacks that receive no coverage from the press.
Malaguenians and following their beloved virgen Mary. I don't want to disrespect Catholicism, but in Semana Santa here in Malaga one sees very clearly how church tradition has replaced the gospel of grace preached by Christ; He is the way, the truth and the life!

Let's face it; there are some skills that are just cool to have. Being able to weld things, very cool. Ability to moonwalk? Always cool. And being able to turn everyday milk into wicked good cheese definitely belongs on that list. What if you showed up at your next holiday party with a wedge of queso fresco that—no big deal—you whipped up that morning? Pretty cool.
I just made this cheese last night with my girlfriend, we used vinegar instead of lemon juice, the flavour was mild and the product was cheese. I'm doing this again.
