The most gorgeous place in Negros. The Ruins is called Taj Mahal of Negros. It was burned down in World War II but the pillars of mansion and other hard structures stood the fire. And there's one sad story of undying love behind the Ruins. Now the Ruins is not ruined, it even makes the area attractive.
This is Caohagan island taking about 40 minutes from Mactan,Cebu. The owner of the island is Japanese who spent his retirement pension to buy here. He taught residents here how to make a living so that you can see many residents sell seafood which they fish every morning and bargain with guests. Keeping the traditional lifestyle, Caohagan isn’t destroyed from tourism development.
