One of my hamsters - Cali - escaped and I was freaking out she had gotten outside... until I found her in the cupboard above the cooker with her face stuffed. She looked so extremely surprised I found her even though she was knocking every pill bottle in there over on her way to world domination.

Opposite of this where I live, we have a neighbour who will actually start shouting abuse if I look at my postbox. Called the cops on me when I looked in my post box on a Saturday. Wish I was joking.

3. Open worldwide. If you have a mailing address, you can enter.
4. If you’re a minor, please make sure it’s OK with your guardian to give me your address.
5. Winners will be drawn via random number generator on 7/1 at 10pm EST
6. winners will have 24hrs to get back to me or another will be drawn.
that’s it- good luck!
Spoonies - have a look at this giveaway. I am a great fan of Supernatural and I love Jared using his status to bring attention to important issues like mental health. I know chronic illness and mental issues can be very closely connected. Even if you’re not in it to win the shirt, give it a like and a share. Even if you get one person to google what the shirts are about, that’s one more person informed! Gentle hugs x
Me after binge watching a show
Remembers literally none of the details, occasionally forgets the main characters name
This is pretty much me. I can greatly enjoy a show but don’t ask me “remember season 4 episode 11?” because I will not have a clue what you’re talking about!
Labels in LGBT Community
Okay, I know this is a bit of a sensitive topic, but I just realised that the community that says they don’t want labels anymore have the most ridiculous amount of labels you’ll find anywhere. Where it used to be LGB(T), we’re now at LGBTTTQQIAA(PAGBGP).
Community: “Away with labels, we’re no different than any of you! So what are you?” Me: “what do you mean?” Community: “well, are you lesbian, gay, bi, transgender, transsexual, two-spirited, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, ally, pansexual, agender, genderqueer, bigender, gender variant, pangender? Me: “..........”
Just be what you feel like. If you’re comfortable with a label, take one of the labels, there are plenty. But you don’t have to. You don’t have to fit in one of those labels, and no one is asking you to name your sexuality or gender identity.
Whoo, one of my rats had her babies! They're all hooded blazed, 5 girls and 6 boys, and I know they still look like rainworms, they should grow up to be all super fluffy with curly coat! I think animals are great to help soothe the mental problems associated with fibromyalgia. I'm having flu so everything hurts even more than normally, but I spent half an hour today playing tug-of-war with Krasotka (mother rat) using some toilet paper and had lots of cuddles with Leniviya, another mother to be! Gentle hugs to all ❤
lmao (laughing my anxiety off)
I have to say, this post made me laugh so hard I'm cured of my fibromyalgia

I’m pretty sure this dog thinks he’s a cow, haha. Hope this cheers you up as much as it did me!
As a spoonie, if you can, try to spend time with dogs. As I recently left my job I have time to get a dog now (that’s him in the picture!), and he’s making life a lot easier. I will have to go out with him a couple of times every day which helps me to keep moving, however slowly, and at night he sleeps in bed with me (and in the morning he won’t let me get up). He’s a rescue, would have been put down if I wouldn’t take him, as he’s super scared of new people. We seem to have taken to each other right away and he’s my personal fluffy pillow! He likes to be held when he sleeps and he is super easy going when it comes to bathtime so I don’t have to strain myself too much to get him clean! I know not everyone has time, or the possibility to get their own dog. But maybe you neighbour has one. Maybe you’ve seen one out a couple of times. Approach the owner and explain your situation, maybe they can come over once a week for your dose of doggy cuddles, or if you are having a relatively low pain day, perhaps you can go over to them. It’s worth it. Gentle hugs.
I have a new housemate with a doggie, and as I'm off today doggie made a blanket fort in my bed and refuses to move! 😁 Good times are ahead.
Tea, cleaning and peace
After the stress of the last week I am still trying to gather my energy, I’m exhausted all the time and on top of that I got sick (cold and stomach issues) so I don’t get much time to recover. My Housemate From Hell is not in today, so I’m in my room with the door open, some tea, some good music and doing some cleaning (steam mops are just brililant inventions!) After cleaning I’ll be doing some cooking to prepare most of my food for this week (lunch) so I will not have to worry about that during the week. And I just realized that next Monday is a bank holiday so extra long to enjoy the silence! I’ve also finished the new contracts, and the inventory of stuff that HFH has to replace, and bills he’s missed. It feels good to be on top. Lots of love
In bed after a stressful week, I can already feel I'm gonna need a lot of time to recover. After the weight was lifted off my shoulders today I felt relieved only for a bit, then the pains started, from being tense for so long. I wouldn't wish what happened here on anyone, but any spoonie will tell you how hard it is to not sleep for 3 days, and be on guard 24/7. It severely affects your general health and recovery time. I'm gonna sleep for the entirety of the weekend now, and I promise the full story will follow next week. Lots of love
Today My body: *violent sudden pains in hip and back with every move* Me: "What's up? It's never been the cycling. It's hardly the 10 minute walk to the market and back on Saturday.. Or is it? Was it the cleaning on Sunday? Is my period due? Did I bend over the wrong way while getting my shoes? Did I get off my bike the wrong way? Did I move too much this weekend? Too little? What did I eat?" Anxiety and fibro is a horrible combination. Waist trainers are a blessing when your back is falling apart.
Hello dearies,
Sorry for radio silence! I’ve been busy picking myself up from a very deep hole. Right now everytime I go outside I have a major panic attack - it’s the weather. This time last year I spent most of my time in a perpetual panic attack. Right now I’m on my way on to the market. It’s still a massive fight as I’m struggling to walk as well, but I cycled to work every day for the last two weeks, so my aim is to keep moving.
Besides this I quit my job and shaved my head. People say I’m brave, but I’m being destructive. It’s not just someone cutting themselves, getting in fights. It’s a more subtle way of self harming, like picking at scabs. At the same time it’s a new start. And I’m gonna make the best of it.
Wanted
Wanted: someone to pet my head and give occasional back/shoulder rubs when requested. Needs to be flexible with working hours and be OK with night shifts if required. Please apply with your cv and a short explanation why you should be the one to do this job.
