The bags drop from your hands, spilling their contents all over the Compound’s parking garage. You were attempting to carry your groceries from your car to the kitchen – determined to make only one trip. Despite your arms being laden with five canvas bags, you were confident you could handle the weight.

In hindsight, maybe you should’ve taken more than one trip.

You crouch down, beginning to cram the items back into the reusable bags. The corner of your box of crackers is crumpled and the bananas are slightly bruised, but otherwise, no serious damage seems to have happened. As you continue to pile your groceries, you hear a set of heavy footsteps approach from behind.
