Hey so. I haven’t been on here in ages due to school and poor mental health and it looks like I’m the only mod left. As I mentioned as well, I still have school and it’s getting only more intense and i barely have time to take care of myself, let alone run this blog. Even though you might look like the villain, Kyubey, you’re really just misunderstood. I know, I know, that’s such an old line, but in your case, it’s absolutely true; just because your actions don’t line up with human behavior doesn’t necessarily make it inherently evil. You were, after all, just doing what you thought was best to slow the heat death of the universe.

Besides, no one can deny how cute you are.

It’s good that you can handle being made fun of - everyone likes a guy who has a sense of humor about himself! But I get it, sometimes it all gets to be a little much.

Personally, I always prefer stories where the villain isn’t 100% sure in his villainousness; someone who has to struggle and angst over what he’s doing is infinitely more interesting. Sure, it might mean that the fandom has more ammo to poke fun at you with, but it’s also the reason they find you so interesting!

a dave strider here, whose been having some really messed up nightmares about being replaced in my canon by a different dave (or thinking its my canon and accidentally intruding where theres already a dave?) i kinda need a pat on the shoulder and a "thats not really happening" rn

Yo Dave!! None of those nightmares are real in the least, I assure you!! Your canon is completely your canon and you definitely did not get replaced nor did you replace any other Dave. While there are other Daves because of time shenanigans, you’re the only Dave in your canon, and those nightmares are just nightmares in this case. Awful nightmares but ones that aren’t true.

Hey there WV!!! First off, you’re definitely super important in HS. I mean, at the very very least, you were there to guide John in the beginning and without any of that where could he have gone? and where could his story have progressed?? You’re part of a very very important foundation. Plus, you’re definitely a glue that kept the group together all throughout the time on the meteor!! You’ve done a lot of important things in your canon, and you’re worthy of so much respect, WV!!!

A game is nothing without a worthy adversary, and you certainly fit the bill! You’re easily one of the coolest looking boss I’ve seen from your canon; and in a game known for being full of symbolism, that’s not an easy thing to accomplish!
