An update from me around To Love A Supernova
Wanted to put out a quick update on where To Love A Supernova is currently at, and share some exciting details about it.
To Love A Supernova is going to be substantially longer than To Be A Supernova, and I have a very different life schedule now where I don't have as much free time to be writing. To Be A Supernova was an extremely fast project, but To Love A Supernova has been a much slower, more refined process. I have written 31 of the 49 chapters, and it's sitting at 185k words already. So it's going to be quite the epic once it's fully done, and everything is mapped out (with a lot of the chapters already having their dialogue ready to go), but it is going to take a bit longer to finish.
As a result, I believe that my writing has elevated. My narrator, like Serena, grows and changes as the story grows and changes. Because of this, I have chosen to record the entirety of To Love A Supernova in audio form as a dramatic retelling to pair with the writing. Which, when you're writing a very spicy story, is quite the interesting challenge, but provides a very delightful result. This means, with every new chapter, you're getting it in audio form with me providing unhinged, wild, dramatic performances of this bonkers story. It's hilarious, but it also really highlights how strong my narrative voice has become.
I also have art commissioned for this project. I have a very particular character design being done that will drop in Chapter 3, and oh my, it is making my knees weak. The book cover is also currently under commision. Both of these should be arriving completed in my inbox by the beginnning of May.
Therefore, I have chosen to set the release day for To Love A Supernova to be on Wednesday 5th May at 9pm EST (11am Thursday for us Aussies). I will release a chapter every Wednesday at 9pm, which means you can count on me to provide you with a hump day dose of juicy Serena drama every week.
I can't wait to begin sharing this world with readers again. You're in for an absolute hoot of a time! You'll hate me, love me, think I'm banana's, cry your eyes out, probably get horny, and things will be grand!
