I might or might not have to make you guys wait for a little while longer; the past months, and especially the past week has been really exhausting and mentally tiring. “I see…” Tear’s voice trailed off into the silence between them, which despite her sudden outburst, had remained comfortable enough.

“Well… I don’t think immersion therapy has worked, has it?” she joked nervously, fully aware that it was much out of her character to even say such a thing, but also aware that it didn’t hurt to try and soften the atmosphere a little.

But even so it was true, wasn’t it? Despite having had to surround himself with her, Anise, Natalia and even sometimes Noelle, there didn’t seem to be any difference in his behaviour.

“It’s just that also, well…” the brunette started once more, not exactly knowing how to word what she had tightly secured in thought, “I remember reading something about various therapies that are supposed to aid phobias. Apparently they’re mainly initiated in Belkend, but the success rate is rather high and the concept is rather simple to understand.”

Of course – it was merely out of curiosity that she had asked, and with the rest of her words, they voiced themselves without processing properly.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to go that far.”

“--Immersion therapy.”, Guy repeated, slowly, and he felt rather astonished by these words. Not like he’d never thought about it { oh, he did, and it had always been terrifying } -- but hearing such words from someone as reserved as Tear--

He looked at her, a tickling chill running down his spine, and by the sight of her obviously feeling uncomfortable about what she just said, Guy visibly loosened up, a smile tugging at his lips, and even a small little laughter escaping his lips.

“--You’re not offering to actually treat me, are you, Tear?”, he asked running a hand over his upper arm. “You and I both know how awkward that would be -- for the both of us.”

--Unless she was, somehow, for some reason, trying to change herself, in order to-- what exactly would she want to achieve? She was all into Luke now, wasn’t she? Guy swallowed, shoving away such thoughts, knowing all too well how misplaced they were. Not like Tear would be interested in him, after all.
