It turns out that there actually are great truths out there in the world. The thing is, they aren't very easy to come by. They are rather rare. But when you do come across one, it tends to hit you like a ton of bricks. The truth of the matter is, every new situation is always a unique special case. That means that none of what you've experienced before and none of what you know is necessarily applicable. One must use judgment, and one must first know something about the new situation. This entails a few paradoxes, and as paradoxes are resolved, slowly but surely, the truth hits you. It was never as you once thought it would be. Things change. New things happen that you have no prior experience or framework available to understand. This is the unfortunate nature of the Lifespace. Each new field requires a new-fangled analysis.
