This wasn’t working at all. “I’m...Awful at directions I can just navigate you there if that’s cool?”

he says that, but does he mean it ?? this girl was TALL, & looked to be in better condition. he may accompany bold words with the furrowed brows & pouty bottom lip of a TENACIOUS expression – however, he silently prays that she move away without pursuing his fraudulent offer of a fight. it’s been a while since he had last been pummeled into a pile of heaping regret, and today wasn’t the day to repeat history.

Her brows furrow, and a hand raises to tangle in messily tied hair. Hye-Jin lets out a loud yawn, a sign that she wasn’t even totally listening to the guy. Team Galatic? Weren’t they another one of those organizations that terrorized a Region? Or something like that.

“Uh...Listen...Galactic guy? That where you said you were from right? Didn’t you guys get disbanded? Like weren’t you wrecked by someone?” Getting off track, Hye-Jin. “Anyways...Nobody’s stopping you? But I’m not moving I’m nice and comfy.”

she wants to know all about how this worked, her curiosity has peaked and now all she wants to know is how this pretty lady got her hair such a pretty colour, and how she maintained it.

Eyebrows arch, before lowering slowly as a scowl formed on her face. Was this kid trying to pick something with her. Exhaling heavily through her nose, the trainer puffs her chest out, before bending over to get a good look at who she was talking to. “...The f-....H...Heck do you mean? This is my hair.”

Well, from the looks of it at least it’s gonna be a friendly battle.

“Sinnoh? Nope! I’m from Hoenn, born and raised! Though I’ve been to Sinnoh occasionally on my adventures.” Hands rest on her hips as she grins. “Really, cool! I caught this guy as a ralts, too. My first Pokemon! He’s like my Best Friend!”

Might not even be a battle, if she keeps yapping.

Eyes widened and he looked at the Gallade with curiosity and excite- ment – why did it look so grumpy? “Oh – damn, I’ve always wanted to get a Gallade but I don’t like … havin’ more than six pokemon. That and no dawn stones.”

He released his own Gardevoir, the pokemon giving a soft hum when she saw the opposing Gallade and swaying in her own spot.

It was in his nature, Hideki, don’t worry. At sight of the Gardevoir, Hye-Jin would grin a little. “Yeah he evolved a little after our first trip to Sinnoh! We’d heard about an alternate form for Kirlia.”

“Where’d you meet your Gardevoir?”

She didn’t know that her Unown friends had roots over there, but last she visited Kanto there wasn’t too much cave exploring as opposed to hiking.

“Hye-Jin..That’s my name, I’m Hye-Jin! Uh..Thanks for the welcome..” She just nods along, rocking back and forth on he heels.

“I mean … I can’t say no to battles.” He rolled his shoulders in a shrug – it had been a while since his pokemon have had a chance to tussle and fight. Pulling out one pokeball he tapped it softly to his garchomp’s snout, watching her dematerialize back into the ball.

“Cool! Cause I don’t take no for an answer...I mean...I do but I woulda asked you like one more time at least. Yeah.”

Swiftly, a pokeball would be tossed out, a very grumpy Gallade materializing from its capsule.

“Uh – y-yeah?” He blinked in surprise, hand naturally going down to rest where he knew the rest of his pokeballs were. Garchomp on the other end cocked their head slightly and made those weird chirping sounds. Trust him, he didn’t miss the bandaged hands, for a second glancing down at his own scarred fingers.

“Why …?”

The bright haired trainer bounces on her feet a little, both hands reaching for her own pokeballs.

“Battles are fun! Good way to wake up, get energized, pass the time. You know?”

Due to its species’ nature, it floats a tad bit behind Matilda even more as she nods at the stranger. From closer inspection, this person was not alone but was unsure if they had any malicious intentions.

“ Yes. This is my friend, X, don’t mind him as he is a shy one. Now, is there something you need help with? ”

Hands stuff into her pockets, and she just observes the pokemon. “I’ve only caught glimpses of them...On a trip to Kanto.”

Hye-Jin shakes her head. “No. Just needed to see if we were in the right town. Been a while since I visited Sinnoh.”

From behind, the Unown that follows her instructs her of the stranger’s position.She turns towards the other and unfurls her cane, walking towards them before keeping a few feet apart.

“Hah! I told you.”

The trainer glances over to the Gallade standing behind her. The pokemon simply makes an annoyed noise and continues to observe their surroundings. “No, just making sure we’re on the right trac--” Turning back to the other she was talking to, Hye-Jin paused when she noticed the Pokemon.

“Whoa...Wait. That’s one of those uh...Psychic types...”
