"Labrys is my sister if we were to go into those terms." Aigis paused slightly confused at the sudden arrival of the Unit. She did strike a very close resemblance to Labrys. "But if you are also a unit of her generation..Where did you come from? The only fifth generation to be here was Labrys after-all."

While it was not something 024 did not enjoy explaining the true nature of to others, even Labrys, it seemed such a thing would become needed.

What is one thing you really like about how I play my character?

"It's been some time, hasn't it, Labrys?"

"024...H-How?"

"They....found a way ta rebuild you?" the memories were only flooding back to the unit now. She still recalled the exact moment two generations ago when she had been instructed to kill Unit 024, just like the training robots she had killed when she was first tested.

"I...I dunno what ta say.." Reaching out, and taking a step foreward, did she tightly embrace the unit.

Slightly confused as to what was happening, having never experienced a hug herself, 024 stumbled around in her mind. She had no clue as to how to react to such a thing. Blush filling her cheeks now, the less experienced Unit decided to follow Labrys' lead, and simply wrap her arms around her friend as well.

"...I missed you."

"Huh? Who are you?"

"I am Unit Number 024, an Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon. A pleasure to meet you."

"It's been some time, hasn't it, Labrys?"

"024...H-How?"

"While it is difficult to explain, I can offer you the simple solution that I've been "rebuilt", so to speak. Anything beyond that is far too complicated."

Despite what she spoke of, 024 kept the warm, small smile that she always carried with Labrys. She was happy to see her friend again.

  "Exactly." She agreed, finding that thought kinda more depressing than it had to be. Her friends were the reason she was still functioning and not stored away like she had been before. "Y'know, I found someone else I consider a sister. Younger sister, of course. She's pretty great. I think you'd like her."

024 brightened up a bit at the mention of a younger sister. She had learned of newer generations of their kind, but never had the chance to meet them out of fear. Even more reassuring was Labrys being able to make friends with her.

"I've heard some of the younger forms of ourselves. While I'm glad that you've made friends with one, I can't help but worry if they've stifled her emotional output since our... incident."

  "It could be the same way for you. I could introduce ya to them. They're pretty neat, but leaving out what you did might be... best." She felt a little guilty if she really was going to hide something like that.

024 nodded in response, knowing that any of Labrys' friends wouldn't take kindly knowing what had happened.

"Agreed. Not only would it cause more trouble than it's worth, it would likely alienate your friends away from you."

  "You got a point there. Yet there are some great people out there that have insisted on takin' care of me. So yeah, I guess you can say I've lucked out and met some decent friends."

  "I guess both of those are possible, huh? While I can sit and think about it, I rather not. Been involved in some crazy stuff myself." The robot said with a nod, wondering if the other dealt with a tournament and a Shadow self herself.

"In fairness, our very existence would be considered crazy to most. That is beside the point though. Have you been happy?"

  "I was safe myself. They kinda... forgot about me. Not all of them were bad ya know. I meet a few that accepted me. But, that's not important. What's strange is that I didn't even know that happened. It sounds like we weren't suppose to meet with the events that happened, so how do ya explain this?"

"I'm not sure how we have exactly met, although it could be possibly explained by a variety of scientific theories. On the other hand, we could've simply had our memories manipulated back then into believing we destroyed one another. Likely not for the first time as well."

  "Dunno how you even managed that. When I tried, I was still ambushed. Heh." Somehow she let out some laughter besides the situation being a dark one. "But that ain't important. It did me no good in the end. You on the other hand..." She stopped to look at someone she considered her friend. "You really got rid of them all, huh?"

Looking back towards Labrys, the same caring smile she had shown so many times to the younger humanoid appeared. It was comforting even to 024 to show it.

"I believe so. Either that, or enough of them to reconsider their approach. We should be safe for the foreseeable future."
