Jacknjellify announced to the osc that TPOT 23 will come out within a week but the release date will be a surprise. The osc will not know the exact day until the episode is actually out.

Having reflected on this announcement, the osc draws the conclusion that TPOT 23 will never drop. Their reasoning is in several parts. They begin by concluding that the "surprise drop" can't be on June 30th, as if the episode hasn't been released by June 29th, there is only one day left - and so it won't be a surprise if it drops on June 30th. Since jacknjellify's announcement stipulated that the release would be a surprise to them, they conclude it cannot release on June 30th.

They then reason that the surprise drop cannot be on June 29th either, because June 30th has already been eliminated and if it hasn't been released by June 28th, TPOT 23 must be on June 29th, making June 29th not a surprise release date either. By similar reasoning, they conclude that the episode can also not drop on June 28th, 27th or 26th. The osc is now confident that TPOT 23 will not come out at all.

On a random day at midnight, jacknjellify shadowdrops TPOT 23 - which, despite all the above, was an utter surprise to the osc. Everything JnJ said came true.
