This blog turned one-year-old today
And I'm right back where I started. Need to get my head in the game once and for all. Planning on restarting C25K when I'm back in Paris, and to stop buying pastries during the week. Small goals, doable goals.

GUYS LOOK AT THIS.
I know it’s sad that this is considered “revolutionary” but seriously this is so so so important. Look at what Aerie style and fit expert Jenny Altman said in an interview with ABC News: “We left everything: beauty marks, tattoos. It’s a selling point because our customers represent this great demographic and they don’t get to see what girls their age really look like.” The brand also plans to enhance its website. Soon, when you search for a DD bra, you’ll see an actual, real-live DD-sized woman wearing it. Sort of sad that this feels so revolutionary, but anything that diversifies that headless, B-cup avatar common to most lingerie sites is okay in our book.
But we didn’t include any girls other than those that fit the traditional standards of beauty - thin, no stretch marks, no cellulite, the “right” boobs, the “right” butt. I see a tattoo on one girl, no birthmarks.
The real me? She is a little chubby, very curvy, has cellulite and stretch marks and H-cup boobs that are kinda droopy and wears glasses and is pale with freckles all over and has a birthmark on the side of one leg and the back of the other. She doesn’t look like any of the girls in these pictures. They don’t represent body diversity, nor do they make her think aeri really wants to stray from normative beauty.

yes, i'm reblogging myself from my personal blog because it's super relevant.
By the way
I’m studying in Paris until May and then the Netherlands until mid-July.
I leave today (actually on the plane now!)
When you first made the fitness blog, you just wanted to lose weight. You wanted to be skinny, wether it be for bikinis or a prom dress or just because you hate your body. You reblogged dozens of skinny bodies of girls you only could dream of looking like. But somewhere along the way, you read a story, or found a certain blog that changed that. You didn’t care about being skinny, you cared about being healthy and treating your body right and loving yourself even if you aren’t anywhere near your goals. You stopped reblogging skinny girls and started reblogging sweaty girls, or people running, or quotes, and lots and lots of oatmeal. That’s the fitblr community, not us trying to control your life but trying to control our own.

this might be my actual favorite thing ever
I'm working on detoxing my body of sugar and caffeine
I'm not doing anything extreme - no juice cleanse, no smoothies for every meal, no extreme diet , no 21-day sugar detox - just removing sugar/processed foods from my diet and cutting back on caffeine (though I haven't had any today)
In doing so, I've figured out one of the reasons I eat sugar so much - when I'm bored or feeling a little hungry, it's the easiest things to grab and always satisfies a craving. So, I need to really stop and think when I go for a sugary snack - if I'm hungry, I should grab a fruit or veggies or nuts. If I'm not, I should go do something else.
Thought you guys might find this interesting as well, here is Cosmo’s plus size model, Robyn Lawley. You can find the photo here, and see how enraged everyone else is at the idea of “plus size”
My favourite comment was: "Dear Cosmo, Kindly take your ideas of “plus size” and shove them up your ass sideways. Sincerely, Every man on the planet who has had to reassure his perfectly healthy and proportioned woman she’s not fat because assholes like you perpetuate this idea in her head that she’s “plus size”
LOL PLUS SIZED
that’s what I aim to look like…HEALTHY.
all i want for christmas is to lose 25 pounds
Dear Followers,
I messed up. I've gained most, if not all, of my weight back. But I'm home until I leave for Paris in a month. I'm going to work my hardest, and this time, I'm NOT going to gain it all back. I've done that too many times. It's time to eat healthy, try to cut sugar (for a little while to lessen cravings), and go to the gym. This time, it's gonna be permanent.
Sincerely,
Me
If anybody even tries to whisper the word ‘diet,’ I’m like, ‘You can go fuck yourself.’
I'm at work and I swear to god these cookies are mocking me.
