it truly is the devils app :| I’m glad (?) that im not alone in that too, especially cos seeing how comfortable a lot of my artists friends are with posting makes me feel a little depressed about myself haha. it’s sooo frustrating how integral instagram feels for artists

fingers crossed desperately hoping and praying that i get accepted to one of the two gallery shows I applied to, the applications were ages ago but both of them should give the results in july and i need something good to happen so so soon or i will seriously pass away, the rope that is holding the last of my sanity in place has frayed sooooo thin

#at least they had the courtesy to say that they got almost 200 applications #so that gives me a bit of relief cos I can sort of accept that with so many people applying the chances were very slim #but that doesn’t change the overwhelming existential dread of feeling like i will never be able to make it as an artist #but who would think that a gallery in a tiny town in norther bc would have that many applications??#anyway. hopefully i get the second one and don’t lose myself entirely to the pit of despair
