You guys... this stuff is magic 😭
I’ve been taking them for about a week now and I’m not kidding when I say my skin has cleared up tremendously. I have ZERO active pimples, it’s literally all hyperpigmentation now. I’m going to give it a month and come back with progress pictures sooo stay tuned! 😍

I was on accutane 3 years ago and tho I don’t get anymore those annoying cystic pimples, my skin is acne prone and I do get ocassional pimples, but I always reach to this baby right here for my spots to be treated; it can be a bit expensive depending where you buy it from, but I can swear by that it’s worth it! 💚

I have some new followers so I guess I should explain what went down with Accutane! I was on Accutane for 5 months exactly and it helped to get rid of all the cystic acne I had been dealing with since I was 12.
-FAST FORWARD TO 3 MONTHS POST-ACCUTANE-
I started noticing some whiteheads along my jawline but I let them be thinking they’d go away on their own. Within several weeks, my jawline had clumps of cystic acne. I debated going back on Accutane but I had no insurance and no way I could afford it on my own. I came across a video that suggested L-lysine was similar to taking spironolactone (sp?) which was what my dermatologist said she would prescribe me next if I relapsed. I decided to take L-lysine for about 2-3 months and it completely cleared my clumps of cystic acne. I stopped taking L-lysine and haven’t had a jawline breakout since! I do still deal with some occasional breakouts along my cheek or my upper lip but they tend to go away faster. I’m still working on figuring out my skin but I can definitely say that Accutane helped save my skin. I no longer deal with painful cystic acne like in the first picture!
