I remember the nights
Caught up in dreaming my ‘goodbyes’
Orphaned at birth, Rock Lee was immediately disregarded by those around him as an outcast who would amount to little if anything in life. Everyone seemed to think that the circumstances in his life, his loneliness, were all that made him who he was. At the time, it was clear even to him that he was nothing special. He wasn’t smart, and at first, he was physically the weakest kid in all of his classes, bullied and pushed around by many of the bigger children who hated his almost aggressively outgoing attitude.
It wasn’t until Rock Lee met a man by the name of Guy that he himself even started to see a flicker of hope for his future.
The man became a beckon of light to him at first. One of the only people who ever gave him a second thought, and actually believed in him. He could say that Guy rather quickly became a father figure to Lee, the only one he ever knew. Guy saw something special in him, helping him to find what was actually special about himself. Making him stronger and brighter in his own way.
He grew to love building up his physical strength, specifically within the martial arts, and as time went on and he trained harder, Rock Lee became one of the fastest and physically strongest team members on most of his sport teams at school, and a black-belt in his classes. He was sometimes still regarded as a freak, someone who could never fit in fully, who struggled with grades and supporting himself. But now he was okay with that.

Between the lines of fear and blame
The guilt and pressure that has slowly risen up on the ravenette’s shoulders has almost gotten to hard to bear. Almost.
The heir to the Hyuuga name was to be passed on to Hinata, so she was raised to be a princess. Her posture was perfect, her etiquette was flawless, but the princess exterior she had to uphold was one she believed she couldn’t act out. Hinata knows of the dark secrets her clan holds, the secrets that cause the “lower people” of her clan to suffer. Her older cousin, rather her body guard Neji has suffered for too long. She doesn’t believe in the ways of her, the history is twisted.
Hinata longs for the freedom that most of her friends have. Growing up sheltered she had become quiet, unable to properly share her emotions or feelings towards even the people she feels closet to. She watches with envy as her friends flirt, party and adventure. There is a rebellion bubbling up within the young girls chest, but what will push her to set it free?
Most of her time is spent studying so she can maintain the marks she must get, or with the upper-class man of her clan, socializing for when she becomes their leader.

ino yamanaka has always had a pretty normal life - she was born to two loving parents, who were perhaps a bit too demanding of her sometimes, but ino was always very passionate and enthusiastic, so she had no problem with this - they always made her try harder, give her best, and so she did. her parents own a flower shop and ino grew up to adore flowers - she knows way too many pointless facts about them.
growing up, ino was on top of her class and very confident in herself. one of the best friends she’s made in her life (besides shikamaru nara and choji akimichi, who to this day remain her friends) is sakura haruno - however, the two girls drifted apart when they found out they had a crush on the same guy, sasuke uchiha, and became love-rivals. ino later regrets this.
as she grows up, ino spends less time on her studies and more on her appearance - for her to be beatiful and popular among guys is something of great importance. although she is far from an airhead some people assume that about her because of her over-confidence, which sometimes gets confused for arrogance. in fact, ino is quite smart - but that is a side she doesn’t show often.

Kankuro never really had a happy home life. He was too young when their mother died to remember much about her, and the way his father treated them didn’t breed any happy feelings for the man. Kankuro often acted out because of it, earning him a reputation in his neighborhood and elementary school. It wasn’t until he went into middle school that he was foisted off onto a drama teacher, who was a counselor for at-risk youth. It didn’t take long for Kankuro to figure out why.
The old lady was the coordinator for all the backstage effects, and they were beautiful. Kankuro quickly became obsessed with the art, hounding the teacher day and night and not even minding the swats she’d aim at him to get him to stop bugging her. All of that pent up aggression went into prop-making, Kankuro spending more time in the theater than his own bed. It got to such a point that his teacher had to force him to stop and study for his other classes before he ended up flunking out of school all together.
With his life finally not in a downwards spiral, Kankuro found other ways to balance himself out. Despite his negative feelings towards his father, he did genuinely care for his siblings-he began reaching out to them again, more than before. It didn’t always work, causing more walls to come up, but he’s still ride-or-die loyal to them. When high school rolled around, Kankuro was ready…
… Until he found out they had a piss-poor drama club. Kankuro got obsessive again, bugging the adviser until they actually started to push for club activities and plays to put on. Kankuro did most of the props and special effects single-handed for the first few plays, until they finally garnered interest and he had a team behind him. He stayed devoted to it, the realization that this was what he wanted to do his entire life a sudden and… kind of obvious one, to be honest. He’s just biding his time, waiting until he can impress the crowds with his skill on the big stage.
fun fact: kank goes out of his way to feed stray animals he finds-if his place allowed pets, he’d take them all home (he’s also a double-texter, as seen bellow)

Temari never ran from anything or anyone, at least that’s what she would say if you asked her. Reality was at the first chance she got she ran from home, packed her things and headed straight for Konoha to finish school and hopefully get a job where there was at least green and rain.
Once in school, Temari mostly kept to herself but loved to keep an ear to the ground for gossip and rumors. Though she didn’t engage herself in drama, it was entertaining to her none the less. Besides keeping to herself she found a passion in studying music and dance, finding them to be of the few things that she really enjoyed.
