❝Oh! Could it possibly be? The brave, strapping young human; come to save me from this mountains heap of release forms!❞
True, the fact that said release forms are deserted on the other side of the room and Mettaton’s apparently busy colour-coding his makeup in a blatant bit to procrastinate sort of implies that he didn’t really need saving in the first place, but still. That’d ruin the moment.
So he scoops up the little human, resting them against his hip and planting a light little kiss on their cheek with a chuckle.
❝My hero.❞
Save him? Well, it wasn’t Frisk’s intent but it would suffice. If Mettaton needed to get away from paperwork Frisk wouldn’t argue. They nod and hug him, trying to think of what may be the best way to help Mettaton avoid his work. Apparently, that isn’t so bad an idea to Frisk. They would say it was for Mettaton’s sake, but maybe, just a little bit, they wanted some attention right now. There was nothing wrong with that, Frisk had decided. They just laugh along with Mettaton, happy for the chance to spend time with one of their favorite monsters.
Meilin giggled a bit before bending down to Frisk’s level. She knew they’d be shocked by her knowledge of them. Aside from them and the phantom, no other humans were here. They were in the world above. It was a shame they were so selfish and scared of the monsters…and children, apparently.
“I told you. My name is Meilin.” She then put a finger up to her lips to accentuate the next part. “Where I’m from is a secret. But I know about you. I know you’ve had a hard life and you feel lonely. I know you only want the life you dreamed of when you ran away. I want to see if I can help you.”
Extending out her hand, her smile turned warm and inviting.
No one was this nice. No one. Frisk listens as Meilin speaks, but they can’t believe it. How could she want to help? She didn’t know them, she shouldn’t even care. The one person who should have cared...
“Why...” They begin, glancing at her outstretched hand. Even Chara had fallen silent, both children watching the girl before them. “Why would you... y-you want to..?”
Because of happenings here and elsewhere I’ve updated my rules. Please read them.
Turning to meet Frisk’s eyes, Meilin smiled sweetly. She remembered the young child like she did every human, though she couldn’t help but notice the thread their life created. The ends were frayed from the time anomalies they created, though why was out of her jurisdiction. Free will was her antithesis, after all.
Yet she couldn’t help but notice a phantom thread weaving through the frayed end. Despite not seeing them, there was another human soul here. A powerful one if the phantom thread was any indication. Frisk first, phantom later.
“Your name is Frisk, right?” she said kindly, extending her hand for a handshake. “I’ve heard a lot about you. My name’s Meilin. I’m new here.”
Frisk and Chara were both surprised. She knew their name, and yet...
“W...who are you?” Stuttering, they hated the damn stuttering. It was no wonder no one respected them, never treated Frisk well. Such embarrassing little tics always seemed to get them in trouble. Who was this girl? Frisk didn’t know her. Who would she have learned about them from? Everyone that knew Frisk should be...
Well, not able to tell their legacy, for certain.

“Frisk, do you see that?”
A human. There weren’t supposed to be other humans in the underground, Chara and Frisk both knew. Frisk at least had never seen any but themselves, and never had seen anyone else come down in the timelines they’d gone through. Should they approach? Well, Frisk already decided to go ahead with it.
“Frisk, wait.” Chara cautions, the spirit glancing at the girl before them. “Frisk, something is up with her.”
Frisk paused and eyed her as well, though whatever Chara saw was quite lost on them.
You know what? I’m going petty, lets go. Like for a starter relating to Frisk’s past or from genocide frisk.
Someone gave Frisk bubble wrap, now they are quite happily popping it in the corner.
I get busy and unable to come here for a few weeks, and the amount of followers I have missed holy crap.
Hello. I am a busy young lady with too many blogs.
I’ll take the time to check out the new followers then get to replies, I am so sorry!
@fiinalreset
* Why didn’t you kill them?!
* You don’t think I saw what you just did…
* …You have to be kidding…
Anger bubbled up from within the spirit…how could this have happened? How did they let this happen? They should of notice sooner, how the other determination was wavering. Just like Asriel all those years ago. How disappointing…all the work wasted.
* If you think I will just let you do this….Y̻̟̮̲̜͛̾̈́̆͝Ộ̻̝̫̻̓͆͋̈U̢̬̰̭̹̎̎̂͂̕ Ḁ̜̜͈͇̓̽͂̈́̅R͔̲̹̘̹̈́́̎̉̄É͚̰̳͇͖̆̓́̚ W̧̻͙̫̜̄̈́̔̈͠R̜̝̰̗̒̃̉͐͜͝Ȍ͍̩̰̜͙̈́̅̕͝Ṇ̬̜̻̗̈́̎́͗̂Ģ͓̰̼͔̈̓͊̽͝.

“Thi..i...i..s isn’t alright...” They’d like to sign it, communicating in sign was so much easier for them. None of their annoying stuttering, the tight feeling in their chest as they spoke was gone if they didn’t speak out loud. “Chara, w... we can’t do this.”
@childcorpses ♥’d
This one didn’t look like any monster Frisk had ever seen before. Their curiosity was replaced with fear, they didn’t like feelings of dread this creature gave them. “Wh... who... what are you?”

They reach up to Mettaton with a smile as though asking him to pick them up, which really, was exactly what they were doing. Mettaton was tall. Being picked up by tall people was good. Frisk liked tall people, tall monsters, ghosts in tall robot bodies. All were wonderful, in Frisk’s opinion.
Oh gods I disappeared for a few days, I’m sorry! I’ve been preoccupied with my final fantasy blogs, but I’m here now! Gonna work on starters and replies now.
a little something im working on!!!
i really love the idea of the monsters being overprotective af……. if someone hurts frisk its guaranteed that they will have a very Bad Time
