Hey there!

--and welcome to my blog! you can call me moss! i'm recently 30, use they/he/it pronouns, and this is my multimuse blog!

this blog is still a wip, especially since i've been out of the rpc for about two years and my aesthetic(tm) skills are rusty, so the basics of what you need to know are as follows:

i work a full time job, so my replies may be sporadic. it's not a you thing, it's me. i'm also mutuals only, again mostly for myself. you can find me in the normal hours for cst, and uh... yeah that's it!

i promise i'll get you a fancy thing later, but for now, this is what we're working with! i am also on @lepiidopterophobia, so if things here look familiar, well-- that's why! I also must note that I have extreme anxiety, and I don’t tend to send in passwords, but know that I have read your rules! I’ve been here since 2012; I promise I know my RP etiquette.

he oozes blood; soaking through quicksilver and skin, dripping onto the floor stained the exact same crimson. his breath comes out in a crackling mix of synthetic pops and wet gasps. his knee hits the sticky floor with an unnatural sound.

the cloud ark is safe again. that's all that matters. he lolls his head back, and creased eyes betray the smile rohan offers.

"they're safe. and it's... it's done. it's finished." copper and silver mix against the back of his tongue. his stomach turns over. "don't look so torn. it's done. you can't take loved away."

hands spread across the desk, staring first down at the readouts before her, then out, to neomuna's horizon, the queen of lies can only draw a trembling breath. the witness has won the battle. it has taken the traveler. but they still have the light, and guardians still have hope. and so—

"i must no longer accept," says the sister of shape, "being a stranger to you."

"i feel all thin," says the titan, very much not speaking of her figure. gentle fingers tap across the guardrail of the wall. she huffs, once. "sort of stretched, if you know what i mean: like butter that has been scraped over too much bread."

ADHIRA OF THE REEF

appearance ; adhira was born of two distributary-born awoken, and thus carries with them the natural strangeness of paracausality made mortal. it stands at a towering 7'3", with a build of athletic sinew and muscle. their skin is a gentle mint green, accented by patches of darker, almost moss-toned freckles focused on their shoulders, thighs, and upper arms. ears sharpen to a point, decorated by a single pearl earring, which disappear behind a pixie cut of pastel pink. its face is sharp angles, with bright, lightning-blue eyes and thin lips. they not conventionally attractive, but hold themself with a strength and steadiness rarely seen.

light abilities ; adhira is a tried and true titan. their light bounces between arc and void; destruction and protection. if forced to make a choice, it defaults to arc, using their fists and the power within to be the spear the city requires. they are not the shield, like most titans. it is no wall. they are nothing but a weapon personified, and will use that power, harnessing the light within, to defend with only the strongest offense.

recent history ; adhira was ressurected during the dark ages, and found themself falling in love with the stories of knights. in a time of warlord and iron lords, they took an unseen third half: the route of knighthood. after the great ahamkara hunt, adhira disappeared. little is know about where they went, and they certainly are not talking. it missed the entirety of d1 and most of d2, only reappearing in the city during the events of the witch queen dlc.

osiris leans into the touch. and that is something he does not recognize himself: how easily and quick he is to meet touch for touch. always reaching out, searching for contact. perhaps it was the years of isolation, perhaps he's always been like this. he is a paradox of a man, after all.

he kisses the heel of aarush's palm, eyes gazing warmly at him. he knows, of course, the unspoken truth of their relationship. that it will end in loss, as most things do, but he will take these specks of warmth before the cold settles in. before the ache becomes present. he's struggled to rejoice in life, but now that his time is finite he's found it's become a little more easy. (another paradox he doesn't intend to linger on.)

" you need not worry... perhaps it is best we met when we did. my precognition from the light made conversations dull at times. i am finding myself pleasantly surprised by the simplicity of domesticity. even if i can only stand it for a few fleeting moments... "

silver eyes soften, and rohan brushes his thumb gently along the curve of osiris' jaw. silver bristles bend beneath the weight. the texture is comforting, grounding. he wishes to remain here forever.

it does not scare him, the thought that this will end. all things end. the world itself has ended twice now, and rohan's own life has skidded to a stop once before. the fact that it will end does not cause him fear. if anything, it makes him hold on a little tighter; allows him to kiss a little deeper.

love means something, because one day it will end.

"you continue to baffle and surprise me," murmurs the cloud strider. his hand slips from osiris' jaw to trail down the curve of his throat, shoulder, down the length of his arm. rohan takes osiris' hand in his own, and brings to place a tender kiss against those worn fingertips. "so i suppose it is something we bring out in each other. or something you do to us, since i have heard saint mention something very similar."

osiris isn't so sure he'd describe himself as tender. pragmatic, certainly. heavy hearted, of course. but tender? rohan isn't the first to do so, saint has as well. still it catches him off guard. perhaps they both see something he cannot. or: they see what he does not allow others to see. he so easily sequesters his thoughts and feelings away.

" i'm uncertain i would ever call myself tender hearted, " he admits as he sets his tea aside. (he made enough for the both of them, of course.)

the cloud strider's voice is gentle as he lifts his own cup, a mirror image of the warlock before him. the tea is warm with a hint of spice; it tickles his throat as he swallows. he takes another swallow. it reminds him of osiris.

"the day i quit surprising you is the day you will grow bored of this old man, osiris." a hand reaches out, thumb brushing across gray bristle. the corners of his mouth twitch upward. "i do not want that to come too quickly, you understand."
