Is it late yet?
I used to cling to fragments of you I molded into pillars for my flimsy inward, now I carry your scanty presence like a failure I'm coerced to face.
You scatter words like crumbs for the starving; each speck a day longer in the lifespan of this spent prurience, more air than sustenance and still we clutch unreality like believers hold on to their gods.
