As much as I loved Eddie coming to the rescue…what was the point if he intended to still move to Texas afterwards???
Mind you he hadn’t even taken off his turnout gear yet and he was already looking for flights out of LA. What was the point of him coming to help if it wasn't going to result in him realizing that LA is his home and he belonged with the 118???
~
Edit: Thinking this over…it was probably to fuel Chimney’s speech at the end but still…that was a great opportunity for EDDIE to realize HIMSELF.
Eddie and Chris I’m so sorry that I wasn’t your writer…
What was the point of Eddie’s Texas storyline??
We never saw Eddie and Chris talk about Kim and Shannon, which is why Chris initially left. We went from Chris refusing to speak to Eddie to them being on good terms, with nothing in between because they chose to delete their scenes. Made a huge deal about Eddie "choosing joy," yet he wasn't even the one who decided that he should stay in Los Angeles.
As much as I loved the Chimney scene in the firehouse…the fact that Eddie chooses to stay because Chim basically told him to…not because Eddie actually decided for himself..
Even when you ignore Buddie…that episode was a chop…the ending felt so rushed
At least Eddie looked amazing
Bobby still dead…Buck moved out…nothing Buddie related besides Buck being happy to see him…okay sure…
HIS FACE LOOKING AT EDDIE…I’M BOUNCING OFF THE WALLS
The way Buck’s face immediately lit up when he learned that Eddie was there…WE DON’T DESERVE TO LIVE
Eddie Diaz to the rescue...oh exactly.
The prettiest of them all
Please let Oliver and Ryan interview each other more because they’re way more comfortable talking about Buddie together than by themselves.
I come back to Oliver following an Eddie Diaz fan account…how is this real life

something about lines being blurred between characters and actors…
