He drew up the sleeves of his white dress shirt and asked, "But why? I've been exceptionally courteous to you."
You never noticed it earlier but that white dress shirt is very tight on his torso, flaunting his muscles. He’s very fit unlike the other CEO of companies… He drew your focus back to himself by speaking again, interrupting your thoughts. "Are you aware of how pointless and futile this is?"
He stared down at you in a rather provocative sidelong glance, leaning on his desk and crossing his arms while waiting for your response. You could barely muster "I obtained a new job...", feeling unexpectedly terrified by his aura, which had abruptly changed from before.
"Do they pay better than I could?" You thought about it. It may not pay well but it will bring you joy than your current job. "No..." You answered honestly, noticing something off. He seems to be getting closer to you.
"Then what made you quit?" He asks, now towering you. Menacingly looming as he disapproves of the way you were casually talking to him.
"It's just that I recently found out my passion... And I wanted to work on it." From the look on his face, you can tell he's annoyed. He shakes his head and strokes his temples while sighing. "I can't afford to lose you now... Especially during these trying times; you're our best employee here," He admitted and you felt guilty about your decision. But is it just a ruse to guilt trip you by looking at his face and seeing how worried he is about this?
"I'm sorry but—" His hands shot out and slam onto his desk, they were placed beside you, trapping you. The loud bang from the wood caught you off guard and caused you to jolt in surprise. This new attitude from your boss scared you... He was pushy in a way he never was while you were around. "Are you aware that you can't leave until you've worked here for more than three years?"
Was that a bluff? You couldn't tell.
You look at him dumbfounded, trying to recall if it was written anywhere. “You should’ve read the contract more clearly then.” He leans closer, digging through pieces of papers from behind you. Due to that, his chest was stuffed onto your face. It was so close to the point you can hear his heart faintly beat.
Pushing away, he handed you a mockup of the contract. “There.” He pointed to where he quoted.
This was devastating news but for DIO, he was more than happy to get you to stay.
“I swear I read the whole contract…” You mumbled, reading it over and over again. DIO grabs the papers and settles them back to his table, right exactly where he got them.
Loss for words, you stood under him in disbelief. Unaware of his victorious smirk and intentions. “I wouldn’t want to lose you either way~ You’re so dear to me…” He had moved closer to her once more. His hot breath tickled your neck, sending shivers and goosebumps up your spine.
“DIO-” He stops you, drowning your voice with his louder one, “Didn’t we agree to what you address me as?” His voice boomed while he occupied his hands to float beside your waist, going down and barely touching your pencil skirt.
“S-sir… Please-” He lets out an agitated breath of air as he hoists you up onto his table. “You’re so adamant on leaving… Let me change your mind just this once.” You held into the edge of the wood, expecting him to explain with his mouth but instead he kissed you deeply with it.
