“I always knew I was gay”

“i always knew i was gay”. I hear this a lot from other members of the lgbtq+ community and i wanted to say that - obviously i cannot speak for everyone - but for me i’d say it was more like “honestly,,, if at some point in the future, i come out as queer,,, i wouldn’t be surprised”. There is not a huge difference between the two, i just wanted to say that just because you didn’t always ‘know’ that you were gay (or bi, ace….), doesn’t make you any less valid.
