hi, im björn and im a 24 year old guy (he/him) from sweden Who Likes To Draw!! this is my art blog. i really like birds, paleontology, ocs, and music! im also autistic and if it isnt obvious enough birds and music are my special interests. i guess ocs also could count as such...

ok ok ok I am so interested in the story!! Thus, questions. Feel free to not answer any questions if they spoiler stuff!! 1. Why and when does Arvo (bird) start going by Juhani? (Pretty sure their the same bird...) 2. What happened to Folk's human family? (I know his brother gets drowned in a frozen lake and copied by Adrian, but what of the rest of them?). That is all!! I am very very excited to see more of the story! so fun!

i will preface both of these with something however, and might be nice for ppl to know in general: take all oc lore on my blog with a grain of salt if it's been uploaded before i started working on the comic! a bit of it, especially the older stuff, is no longer accurate to how im writing the characters now (although some of the broad strokes remain similar). sort of what happens when one is a chronic oc oversharer who didnt know for a long time whether or not i wanted to make Something with them... ill answer to the best of my ability while also being Mysteriously Unspoilery Vague;

"Arvo Juhani Teurä" is/was human arvo's full name, but he never really went by his "middle" name in life. Pareidolia is a story where a big part of it concerns identity, and arvo (bird) is a character fraught with his own identity problems. there is a strong connection between one's name and one's identity... (snile)

folk? folke? who's that? (nervous giggle) it sounds similar to the story of the granholms though. (nervous smile) it is said that the granholm homstead, near vätterunda, once was inhabited by a whole family and a few farmhands. the husband and wife, petrus and eva-lotta, and their three children (oldest to youngest), signe, julius and ingrid. as you say one child, julius, passed away in an accident while sneaking out with ingrid but "came back" temporarily, imitated by adrian. ingrid was the only one aware, but kept it to herself out of fear and guilt. the ruse eventually being revealed exacerbated a huge internal schism within the family which led to petrus and eva-lotta splitting up. petrus moved back to Mora (his hometown) and encouraged signe to come with him, which she did, while eva-lotta stayed behind to take care of the homestead and ingrid. afterwards, not long after ingrid became 20 years old, eva-lotta ended up disappearing herself. no one really knows what happened, not even ingrid. eva-lotta had lost a noticeable amount of weight over a long period of time before, and gotten a bit lethargic than usual, but it seemed like just a few days prior to her disappearence she'd revitalised a bit. ingrid herself has little contact with her father and sister now. she used to send letters briefly to them after her mother disappeared, but stopped once she realised she would not get any responses.

im not sure how many would be curious about it, but, i probably wont be participating in art fight at least for the beginning bit. currently i have no access to my computer/drawing software because my computer is currently sent in to be repaired, and it's taking some time lol, ive had no chance to update ref sheets or anything... i might enter later in the fight and ill make a post if so, but i might have a way more limited character selection, just bcs idk how much i wanna make refs, and also i might want to resume work on the comic too ;P
