(This is a long post. Bear with me: I'm unable to stop the flow of words that come out of my mouth. It's why I love writing.)

Hello there!

As I plan on using this account primarily to advertise my stories, here's a "brief" rundown of my authorial profile. Please note that each and every one of my works is R-Rated, and with good reason. (I like myself some smut.)

@zoyalannister and I are co-authors on AO3, and under our names is the The Last Flowers series, in which we hold back no blows towards Cassandra Clare's truly idiotic plot and characterization in The Last Hours and attempt to write something decent. TLF is comprised of:

Hydrangea, a three-part, Grace-centered minilong which takes place between Chain of Gold and Chain of Iron;

Daisy, a six-part, Cordelia-centered minilong spanning from the Whispering Room scene in Chain of Gold to the end of Chain of Iron;

Chrysanthemum (upcoming), a nine-part fix-it of that trash fire that is Chain of Thorns;

Geranium, an AU stemming from a particular plot point in Hydrangea;

Petals, a collection of missing moments from the series.

Please note that I am zoyalannister's friend, co-author and beta reader for a reason, and any defense of Chain of Thorns will not be tolerated on this blog. (I might be joking, or I might not. Find out at your expense.)

As a solo writer, I've been active for a while in the A Court of Thorns and Roses fandom with the Under the Stars series, posting, as of today:

Constellations, a Nessian-centric minilong which takes place about a year after the events in Silver Flames;

In the shadow of a dream, a Gwynriel one-shot that sets the scene for a future Gwynriel long;

Space dust, a collection of 31 drabbles for Kinktober;

Splendor Solis, a little Elucien worldbuilding piece set in the Day Court.

The stuff on Wattpad is quite old and I'm not posting there anymore, as I now find AO3 more suitable for the kind of stories I write, and also a more "fanfiction-friendly" and "English-friendly" website. But I still respond to comments and interact with readers, since that's the bare minimum in my opinion.

Night Court Law 512HLR/3HLDF, “Wing Protection Act”

Unified Phaos Law TY1/RFHT, 0002:1

Article I: Purpose

To protect the bodily autonomy, dignity, and flight rights of all Illyrians, and to outlaw the practice of wing clipping in all its forms.

Article II: Definitions

Wing clipping: Any act—surgical, physical, magical, or otherwise—that damages, disables, or removes the wings of an Illyrian individual without their consent.

Illyrian: A citizen of the Night Court that is a member of the Illyrian species and possesses winged physiology, regardless of gender, age, place of residence, or social standing.

Consent: A freely given, informed, and revocable agreement by an individual of legal age and sound mind on any matter that concerns the individual in question.

Article III: Prohibitions

No person, institution, or family may perform, order, or coerce wing clipping.

Cultural or traditional justifications shall not exempt any party from criminal liability.

Magical binding or bargaining, threats, or any kind of manipulation to obtain consent are considered coercion, and therefore invalidate consent.

Article IV: Penalties

Wing clipping is classified as a Class A, Subclass 2 bodily violation.

Perpetrators shall face:

A minimum sentence of 20 years in the Earth section of the Dawn Court Bastion.*

Permanent revocation of parental or guardianship rights, if applicable.

Public registry as a bodily rights violator in all three Phaos Courts and the exclusion from public office for a minimum of 50 years.

Repeat offenses or organized wing clipping networks shall be tried under Night Court High Treason statutes.

*As to Messidor 13th of Treaty Year 1, the Dawn Court Bastion is the only suitable facility to house winged inmates.

Article V: Reparations & Healing

Under Operation Phoenix, survivors of wing clipping shall be granted:

Full access to magical-surgical restoration, to be performed in one of the 7 dedicated facilities in the Dawn Court.

A minimum of one month of intra moenia physical therapy and flight conditioning at the same facility, paired with psychological counseling.

Additional intra- and extra moenia physical therapy services and psychological counseling if needed or requested.

Survivors may petition the High Lord and Lady of the Night Court for ancestral reparations if wing clipping was practiced generationally.

Article VI: Enforcement

The Phoenix Division shall be established to investigate and prevent wing clipping. Members of the Division are to be selected from Phaos Citizens with a solid investigative background and a Practical Magic level of 4 or higher according to the Day Court Codex XII, 3632/1,2 Mauritiis et al. The Division shall answer to Unified Phaos Law.

The Wing Guard shall be established to escort and protect wing clipping survivors, prevent and defuse retaliation episodes, and provide additional education and support to both survivors and the general population. Members of the Guard are to be selected from Illyrian citizens, with priority to females. Extensive background checks shall be mandatory. The Guard shall answer to Night Court Law.

Camp leaders, educators, healers, and all public officers are mandated reporters of suspected violations.

The Phaos Council shall review and update this law every five years to ensure its continued relevance and effectiveness.

So, this is what I do instead of writing. Yay me.

512HLR/3HLDF → 512th regnal year of High Lord Rhysand (HLR)/3rd regnal year of High Lady Feyre (HLDF).

TY1/RFHT → Treaty Year 1/Rhysand Feyre Helion Thesan.

Class A → physical violence; Subclass 2 → physical violence that is not homicide or rape (so wounding, amputation et cetera).

Messidor 13th of Treaty Year 1 → Messidor is one of the months of the French revolutionary calendar, which I only chose because I don’t want to use the Gregorian calendar; from the signing of the Treaty onward, the three allied courts will count the years as Treaty Year 1, 2, 3 et cetera.

Day Court Codex XII, 3632/1,2 Mauritiis et al → the codex is number 12 like the 12 tablets of ancient Roman law; 3632/1,2 is a personal easter egg, since ISO law 3632/1,2 deals with saffron, which was the topic of my bachelor’s thesis.

I did, unfortunately. And it managed to fry my brain more than this God-forsaken August-typical heat we're having here in Southern Italy.

The only thing I want to say is that, as it seems, all the stories are centered around some kind of trouble for the titular couple, which I really cannot fathom the reason of: why would I want to read about my faves fighting or cheating or not-cheating because they thought they'd been making out with their partner but it was a doppelganger from Thule or whatever the fuck? I mean, come on.

(As an aside, to all whom it may concern, assume that whatever you sent to @zoyalannister, either in private or in public, I've seen it and agree with her take.)

what did you like the most about london?

The Science Museum, the medicine exihibition especially. And the underground, to be honest 😂 I spent seven months commuting to and from Naples by barely adequate public transport, so the London Tube was a very pleasant experience in comparison.

Nothing at all, I was either too tired or too amazed to think about anything other than what was happening in the moment 😅

Oh boy, where do I even start.

All in all, 6.5/10. Did I ultimately enjoy myself, more or less? Yes. Would I do it again? Not for a BILLION euros.

I'd actually started typing a rather lengthy reply, but I realized I really don't need to be airing my business on this website (or, well, subjecting you all to me airing out my business on this website), so I'll just say I ate terribly, slept even worse, and did, in fact, spend my whole trip acting as an unpaid Italian-English and English-Italian translator as I'd anticipated, but London's museums are gorgeous and its public transport is unparalleled.

First of all, sorry for the delay, but lately I've been busy with doing absolutely nothing and I've only now managed to find a moment to answer you.

5 years ago I was about to graduate high school and start university, so the first thing I'd say to myself is: you might think that you've based your decision to study chemistry on a whole lot of nothing, but you're going to realize that it was, in fact, the right thing to do. So, trust your gut, sometimes.

Secondly, I'd advise myself to stop helping and coddling others when they don't deserve it. At this point in your life, you've already started avoiding and/or refusing to do it, but be sure to never falter.

Third: your ability to study patterns and behaviors and predict future events is only going to grow and become better. You should definitely consider changing your name to Cassandra: cursed to speak the truth but never be believed. Your anger over this will never vanish, so maybe try to start weaponizing it and making people listen to you. You're almost always right, and you know it.

On a more practical, less "melodramatic" note, if you will, I'd tell myself to invest in disposable period products already (I did in 2022, but oh, how I wish I did it earlier) and somehow find out about myo-inositol on my own, without needing to wait for my dermatologist to prescribe it for my acne. Oh, and apropos of that, expect to be hit with stress-related acne (or second puberty, maybe?) out of the blue. You've been lucky in your teens, you're not anymore. But at least your period has stopped kicking your ass every 4 weeks.

And lastly: you know yourself better than anyone else. Do the things you like to do, don't do the things you don't like to do. Only engage with the people that resonate with you: you will find them, and in fact, you've found some of them already. "Having to" push your own boundaries and get out of your comfort zone, if not strictly necessary, is bullshit. Ultimately, you're the architect of your own future, and if you stay true to yourself, you're going to live freely and happily.

1. The most common version of my surname is spelled with a T, but at some point, one of my ancestors thought it was funny to change the T into a D — according to what I've come to understand in my almost 24 years on this Earth, it was done intentionally and was not the result of a spelling error. This is why my family and I are now compelled to specify that our surname is written with a D every single time (and I do mean every. single. time.) we're asked.

2. I cannot donate blood because I'm almost 10 kg below the minimum weight required. This pisses me off so much because, being 0+, I could be useful to so many people.

3. I managed to escape 2 paternal generational curses out of 3: my second toe is not longer than my big toe on either foot and I don't have Gilbert's syndrome. However, my right knee is significantly weaker than my left one and I'm sure that something will happen to it in the foreseeable future, as it already did to my paternal grandfather, both my paternal aunts and my dad.

4. Until a couple of years ago, I wouldn't eat ice cream between October and April, as I considered it a late spring/summer food item. I've changed my mind since I started stopping by an ice cream shop near the train station on my way home from uni.

5. I've had my driver's license for almost 5 years and I still can't parallel park. It's not even that I do it badly: I literally can't.

I'm being very gossip ass, but what can I say my dash of Acotar is quite dead now, and I'm loving this convo, what cities you visited from those countres and what you liked the most?

Well, I have nothing important to do now, so I can say I'm loving this conversation as well 🤣

I went to Spain when I was 10 and only visited Barcelona, but I'd love to go back to Barcelona first and then maybe some other big cities like Madrid or Seville.

I touched Croatian soil (Dubrovnik, specifically) for just a few hours because I was on a cruise, but again, I'd love to go back, either to Dubrovnik or other places.

The same cruise brought me to Corfù (meh), Mykonos (beautiful) and Santorini (stunning), and then I went back to Greece on a school trip: our hotel was in Anavyssos, and we departed from there to visit Athens, Delphi, Micene, the theater at Epidaurus and the isthmus of Corinth.

I would've rather gone to Ireland than London, especially since we had to get passports to enter England as the UK is now out of the European Union, while our carta d'identità would have been enough for Ireland 🙃 Germany, I'm not sure, but speaking of European countries, I would love to visit Romania!

how long is a master there? Specialized or is a general one?

A master's degree typically takes two years and is more specialized compared to a bachelor's. For instance, for my master's I'm choosing organic chemistry/biochemistry, but you could also choose inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, macromolecular chemistry...
