I crave intimate physical contact so much around this time of year.
Almost to the point of desperation.
There’s just something about being trapped in someone else’s arms while you float in a grey numbness.
It reminds me I’m still here. And I’m still feeling.
I’m not just afloat and alone.
I’d be lost in that grey sea of sadness, happiness and anger if not for those arms.
One day I want to run into old demons and talk over coffee.
T.O.P – ACT LIKE NOTHING’S WRONG (아무렇지 않은 척)
SAD
Serotonin and Dopamine levels are falling with the temperatures.
Every year.
I always return when I’m in a different phase in life.
Just a few of my favs from Bumbershoot 2016.
First night back to the gym in about two years. My legs are currently noodles. But the endorphins are flowing still, especially after a successful evening of Pokemon Go play downtown with my brother. I’ve spent the past two years making lifestyle changes. Slow and steady progress has done my body and my mind good. Hopefully, I can keep this up.
I’m still getting used to the fact that life is not always going to go the way I want it to. That everything I thought I would have or be doing, when I was young, is not my current reality. Now, I try not to have too high of expectations. I try not to be disappointed in myself. I try to remember that although I may be capable of molding my own future, not everything goes according to plan. Not everything will come easy. But if I continue to be resilient, patient, and hard working I will accomplish all things I set my mind to. In due time, the reward will come.
I’m still getting used to this mindset that I’ve developed over the past four years, but one thing I’ve become comfortable with is leaving the negative thoughts to die and allowing positivity to flourish.
I lucid dreamed for the first time during a nap yesterday.
It was kind of cool, kind of terrifying.
Four years later, and I’m feeling like I’m ready to get my life back on track and hit the books.
I have a great support system in the form of family, friends and a wonderful boyfriend.
I have a stable job that pays me enough, with benefits.
And I finally feel like I can try progressing again.
The past four years seemed difficult as they passed, but looking back, it’s starting to all look like cake. And while I am anxious to get back to school after what seems like SUCH a long break, I’m pretty confident that I can get through going back to school.
Kawaii in the streets and senpai in the sheets. Lulz, jk. Follow me and I'll send you loves all the time. (finampeach)
