It's easy to compare ourselves to other people's visible successes! But underneath the surface, we realize it's not a comparison at all. We can all succeed in different ways. 🥕✨

Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge. (Psalm 62:8)
The Psalmist exhorts us to trust Lord at all times, not just sometimes, but all the time. How is it that we can trust God for some things, yet find ourselves fretting about others? There are times when we take our eyes off God completely, and focus on the problem! In other situations, we completely forget how God has answered prayer before but fail to trust Him with the situation we face now. We’ve seen God do so many things in our lives; why is it that sometimes we find it harder to trust Him? Don’t we know that the God who helped us in the past will help us again? When we don’t put our trust in God, we end up carrying burdens we weren’t meant to carry. So, let’s tell God all our troubles, and let’s bring every situation to Him, today and always. He is our refuge, and He never tires of hearing our cry!
been a while. helloooo!
My future self will probably remember this day — the day I finally left him. She’ll be proud of me for choosing myself this time, for walking away from someone who couldn’t love me the way I deserved. Today, I realized that the love he gave wasn’t the kind of love I wanted for the rest of my life. And so, I chose myself. I walked away.
But if love ever finds me again, may the universe lead me to someone who feels love as deeply as I do—someone genuinely interested in the little and big things happening in my life. Someone kind, gentle, vocal, and content with choosing me. Someone who feels like home, and who sees their home in me too.
Finally left the restaurant. Kept my sanity.
