Description
As the youngest in a large and eccentric family, Sheldon had to work extra hard to get attention growing up. He's always been the little guy, which is where his nickname Squirt originated, but his big personality makes up for his small appearance. His entire family grew up in the area and have a very nice, large home to make sure everyone's able to fit in one place, but the Finleys were also frequent travelers. Squirt's father and many of his siblings are professional surfers, so travelling for competitions was very common for them. The place they visit the most, and Squirt's personal favorite destination, is Australia, where the Finleys have many relatives. Squirt even made friends in Australia from the times he visited as a kid; Nemo and Darla were two friends that helped Squirt grow into his personality outside of his family dynamic, his first official friends outside of his siblings and cousins. Although at first he only got to see the two of them when travelling, both Darla and Nemo eventually moved near the Finley home, and Squirt was totally stoked! Squirt's dad Crush even became good friends with Marlin, and they have even offered to Nemo and Darla's family to travel with them to Australia next time they had a competition or want to visit family.
Although Squirt does love travelling and exploring, it is also nice to be home more lately. His dad recently retired from surfing and has been staying behind with Squirt when the rest of the family has to go out of town, and for the first time Squirt feels like he's building a stable future for himself. He never really knew what the future held with so much bouncing around growing up, but maybe that was what helped him not be scared of the unknown! It's all just one big adventure in his eyes, and now he's enjoying more adventures with his friends and family here in the area.

Squirt and his siblings were all homeschooled because they travelled so much, which is why Squirt didn't really have friends outside of his family for awhile
He loves surfing and he totally rocks at it, but he prefers to just do it for fun than for competitions. He goes out and surfs all the time and works at the surf shop, but his siblings are the ones in the spotlight with their professional surfing careers. Just because he doesn't like competing though doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy showing off — one of his older brothers is a professional photographer for a surfing magazine, and he does take pictures of Squirt out on the water, too. Squirt's even been featured in some magazines with his dad and siblings a couple times!
After Squirt's dad retired, he began getting into the marijuana growing industry. Squirt's a total stoner as it is, and now he basically gets free weed from his dad which is so sick
Because he was the youngest and always wanted to get his family's attention, Squirt sometimes came off as mischevious, sometimes pranking his siblings for fun and games. He can also be kind of reckless sometimes and have some crazy ideas up his sleeve, but that's just because his dad always encouraged him to be his authentic self and to embrace his creativity
