guyberryman Brian Eno encouraged us to do much more singing whilst making the Viva la Vida album. It’s a common misconception that Brian is only interested in synthesisers and technology; we were taken out of our comfort zones and put in front of microphones for group backing vocals, which can be heard throughout the record.
