My old workplace right now has THE singularly most wonderfully hideous little crusty old white dog I've ever seen. She's perfect and ugly and I love her so, so, so much. She is exactly the sort of dog I plan to adopt after Ruckus in the hopefully far future.
And she also arrived with a little surprise!
When she was spayed, my old coworkers noted a weird scarred area on her uterus. A little while later she was getting an xray for a cough and they noticed a calcified area in her abdomen. So they went in to see what that was... and they found a lithopedion, a "stone baby". It's basically a fetus that ruptured through the uterus and her body encased it in calcium to protect itself!
