It is a blessing to suffer for the purposes of the Lord God YAH and Lord Savior Jesus Christ. We have to endure as Jesus did for truth to be accepted by all. Keep spreading the truth and don’t let your emotions fool you into thinking you have to feel anything bad about telling the truth and having those people who fight against the truth, that you live to spread for God and Jesus Christ, attack you. Keep telling the truth and let God and Christ strengthen you to continue to do so. Do not let this sick world that is so clearly against the truth and against God discourage you.

The way I see it every decision that you don't make /for/ you has the potential to be /against/ you. Passivity is a dangerous game, in the same way living in the defense victim mentality is, you give up control for reaction.

Choices / decisions are a lot like flying a plane. When I was getting my flight license one thing my instructor drummed into me was every single thing I do on that mental monster has a ripple effect that could literally take lives. 0.5° deviation from your initial path seems like nothing but you keep at it and you end up four states away from your destination. One wrong number in altitude, you read one number wrong, you touch the wrong button once, pull the wrong lever and DO NOT CORRECT IT ASAP and you could easily cause international friction and chaos. This is the same thing with choices, the choice to let someone get away with crossing one little boundary today could cost you your entire friendship. You miss one class and don't study for it could be the reason you don't graduate this year. You decide to take your foot off the gas just once, once and you could change the trajectory of your entire life. I know a Juilliard graduate Broadway wannabe that said the wrong thing just once to some random guy who turned out to be an executive and had all doors shut in his face. Life is a ripple effect. It's just fries today until you're fries yourself in a month. It's just a new bag until you're 25 no investment portfolio. It's just one drink because you're stressed and we are on AA. It's just that one day you chose to look dusty that you meet a talent scout. You have to examine your choices carefully.

What most successful people don't tell you about success is that a huge component of it is chance & luck (& by luck I mean when preparation meets opportunity). I am where I am bc some random day when I was a preteen I was surfing the internet and came across some scholarship ad. Wasn't Adriana Lima just walking? Nick Jonas just helping his mom out? Jang Won-Young just attending her sister's school event? Wasn't that purely chance? But if they were looking dusty having an off day whatever do you think they'd have gotten that opportunity? Do you think if I had below average grades at my old school I'd stand a chance? If /all/ I had was grades do you think I'd score that scholarship? If I didn't have a passport ready?

You have to understand every choice you make will have a ripple effect and although you can not always be perfect you have to try. Christians the Bible literally say to chase a God Level perfection because yes its not achievable but in pursuit of it life happens. You have to self monitor like there's always a camera on you. You have to reevaluate words before you say them. You have to ask yourself what what you wear, say, watch, post , where you go, etc say about you. Why? Life happens in chances. And choices have a ripple effect that you don't see right now, but will experience the effects of long after you've forgotten about them. You're procrastinating right now because someday in the past you chose to put off a task you had and it built into a character trait so that now that's your default and you can not bring yourself not to. One day you made the choice to not study and now look at your grades. One day you made a choice that got you here, and some of them subconscious. You have to master your mind. You have to learn to self monitor. The person you will become is dependent on the choices you made today, and they seem inconsequential, but they pile up. One point deviation and you're doomed. It is that serious. It really is. You have to learn to choose your future always. ALWAYS. Why, a choice that you haven't consciously made /FOR/ it could very easily become/AGAISNT/ it. You are easily your own enemy.

how to glow up

i have like, a million posts about glowing up but one more won't harm anyone.

1. oral health

brush your teeth 2x a day for 2 minutes. use mouthwash. and, don't let your teeth rot until your next dentist appointment.

2. daily movement

always move around. this should be obvious, but you can't just lay in your bed all day scrolling on your phone. go on a walk, do yoga, or an actual workout. but you have to move.

3. work on your confidence

some good youtubers to watch for your confidence journey are: tam kaur, thewizardliz, persephonesmind, eléonora oxa, manifestelle, lenalifts, trindingtopic, simonesquared, and sheraseven. now, don't expect to just stop caring overnight. it'll take a while, but it'll be worth it.

4. give yourself your dream wardrobe

girl, please stop wearing that shirt with a band that you don't even listen to. it's not embarrassing to wear the same thing multiple times, but sometimes it's just too much. save up your allowance to go shopping. or, get your birthday and/or xmas wishlist ready with clothes you want.

i don't know what younger person needs to hear this, but it is so valid to not want to drink alcohol at all, or to only want to drink very rarely. don't let others pressure you into joining in with those societal rituals. it is an outrage how normalized drinking alcohol is, to the point that those who choose to abstain are constantly forced to justify their private choices, be publicly questioned about what led to these choices or excluded from activities altogether. you do not ever need to justify your reasons for this. there are absolutely valid and important reasons to not drink, and nobody has a right to know your personal reasonings.

Some women feel guilty about wanting to date wealthy men. But those wealthy men must marry someone eventually. Why not let that someone be you?

Identify Rich Men:

Avoid men who are overly flashy in the photos. They likely aren't very rich at all and are in debt.

Avoid men who have high end designer logos all over the jacket or shirt.

Look for men who are properly fitted suits or business casual outfit outfits in the photos. As they are likely businessman of some sort.

Don't discount men wear dress down. I know plenty of millionaires and wealthy men who wear jeans and a T-shirt.

Just check to see if he is well groomed at the very least. Does he take care of his hair? Does his clothes at least fit him right?

Some men and women make the argument that if you meet online, the guy doesn't really know yet and it may be a waste of money...but it's not a waste of money if you're selective about who ask out on dates.

If he is swiping right on every woman online, dating a new woman every week and taking none of them seriously, then of course a coffee date with him best because he's not looking for a serious relationship to begin with.

Remember, men follow the standards that women set. Men wouldn't offer a coffee date when Every woman said no to coffee dates.

You should want to date a man who is generous towards you, loves to wine and dine you and treats you the best.

Dating Etiquette:

Keep phone calls very short during the beginning of the relationship I'm talking 5 to 10 minutes.

If a man wants to know more about you and talk to you for hours he needs to take you out on a proper date.

If he hasn't asked you out with and text exchanges, start taking even longer to respond to his text messages. I'm talking days.

It is OK not to give an answer to a question that is too personal. Many women make the mistake of feeling the need to give an answer to everything.

But not a classy lady! If he asks you how many men you've slept with respond with "I'm a lady and I would rather not discuss something so personal".

Whenever man asks any other question that you deem to be too personal, just let him know that you would rather not discuss it at the moment and change the subject

Don't try to tell a ton of jokes, ask ton of questions or talk to much about yourself. All these are signs that you were trying to impress him

This doesn't mean that you should act shy and boring. Show that you were impressed when he tells you about his accomplishments. men love feeling smart.

The people who talk the least tend to be the most interesting. The people that let us do most of the talking are usually the people we find to be good conversationalist, when in reality, they just know how to keep you talking about yourself. Which most people enjoy doing.

Only allow him to see you once per week until you become exclusive. Why? Because why would he buy the whole package, when he can get it for free?

If he already has full access to your time, and can see you whenever he would like anyway, what incentive does he have to take things to the next level?

A woman who is living her best life doesn't have time to go out with the guy multiple times per week. She's not that easily obtainable.

I don't care how much he begs you or tells you he enjoys being around you, always keep it once per week. Men will always fast track a relationship and see you as much as possible in the beginning.

And most of the time they will genuinely mean it. You are new to them so the excitement (and let's be honest, the lust) makes them want to see you as much as they can. If you allow it, that excitement will die out fast and quickly turn into boredom.

Avoid serious topics like Marriage and starting a family. If he brings it up first then give them a light answer for example: "I could see myself getting married to the right person", "I could see myself having kids with the right man" etc.

How to get him to propose (or do anything else you want him to)

I once had a man admit to putting off proposing to his girlfriend because he already knew she would say yes. He said he thought no rush to propose because he knew she wasn't going anywhere.

Prior to that, she was constantly staying busy and texting and calling him less. She "punished" him by giving him less of her time. By the time she got back from her four-day trip, he asked her for her hand in marriage

When you show them that you care too much the chase is over.

Men are used to being spoiled by women's emotions and over-affections. It's part of the reason why the silent treatment doesn't work.

When you are sitting right next to him being angry and silent as he tries to talk to you, it shows that you truly do care too much and he knows it.

If you truly didn't care you would have walked out and left along time ago are you would be too busy to be sitting next to him and pouting.

When you pull away from the relationship even just a bit he will notice. He will begin to worry that you might leave or that you found someone better. He will feel losing you and he will do anything to fix it.

When you help a man build his career from the bottom up, you represent what he can get while he's on bottom. Which is why many men cheat or leave a woman altogether once he gets on top and becomes successful.

your everyday routines? how do you keep organized and manage you time? xo

I swear by the 8-8-8 rule.

8 hours of sleep, 8 hours of work, 8 hours of leisure.

My everyday routine is different for weekdays and weekends.

Since it's summer, I'll be sharing my current everyday summer routine. This is for normal, slower days where not much is going on.

Everyday Summer Routine:

8 hours of sleep:

I usually wake up at 5 and sleep around 9ish to get 8 hours of sleep.

8 hours of work:

I spend 3 hours of studying, it's the summer so I don't study too much. What I do during my 3 hours of study changes everyday, but as long as I study each of my subjects and do a substantial amount of work then I will be satisfied.

I spend 2 hours studying/ practicing computer science, this also varies day to day; some days I'll do problem sets, other days I'll work on a piece of software/ project, I might study some theory or read up on anything CS related, or study new languages, etc.

I spend 2-3 hours working on any projects, these will be professional hobbies or school/ career related endeavours, maybe I'll spend this time working on extra-curriculars or anything of the like.

8 hours of leisure:

I don't schedule anything for this time because I like to keep it open and relaxed but I do know what I like to do. I usually watch one TV episode. I count my morning and night time routines. in this section I will work on any hobbies I am into. I write my tumblr posts during this time as well. It's mostly downtime. It changes everyday; I like to go with the flow <3

How I keep organized:

Notion + Google calendar is a KILLER combo.

I use Google calendar to visualize my schedule. It's pretty simple. I schedule anything and everything I do the night before. I also schedule events/ deadlines ahead of time every week.

Notion is wayy more complex, it's like a digital journal. It houses my habit tracker, my food diary, my study schedule, my personal projects tracker, my to-do lists, etc. I'll make an in-depth post once I am done and am happy with mine, but for now it's a work-in progress.

Time management tips:

- Quality > Quantity. Look, you are NOT going to be able to get everything done EVERYDAY without deteriorating your health. Maybe you enjoy multiple activities but do you need to do each one everyday? no. Alternate between activities and rather than trying to fit it all in, spread it out. You will feel much more productive. Once I understood this, the game changed.

- Less is more, seriously, schedule in moments of boredom if you have to. You don't have to be occupied every minute of everyday, it can lead to burnout.

- I only scroll through tumblr and other websites once a day.

- l, as mentioned, schedule my day using time-blocking in Google calendar.

- I use the Eisenhower matrix to determine which tasks to work on

- I plan everything.

- I limit social media use to 30 minutes maximum, honestly I am so over Social media so there are days where I don't even open any accounts. I plan to delete my social media in the near future.

- I don't stress if things don't go as planed and I re-adjust accordingly.

- Rolling over tasks for the next day can help.

- Don't have one day dedicated to doing EVERYTHING, spread your tasks out, it will be much easier.

How to smell good from head to toe, AKA my scent routine

Apparently there's more to it than bathing and spraying perfume.

The formula:

Category 1: The Hair

Let's start at the top shall we?

This consists of your hair products:

Pick a scent, for this category you can have any type of scent, be it fresh or sweet or floral, etc. but the trick is to make sure it plays well with other scents

Make sure your shampoo and conditioner are of your chosen scent or have your scent as one of the notes

Alternatively, you can choose a fragrance free or a low fragrance shampoo and conditioner

Your hair oil/ cream/ mousse/ deep conditioner/ mask/ hot oil treatment etc. should be of your chosen scent but don't stress too much about it as it can be hard to find good products that are of the same scent

Use a hair perfume that has your chosen scent as one of the notes

This category is quite simple, you'll use your shampoo and conditioner and your other hair care products every time you shower and then your hair perfume every morning.

Category 2: The Body (base)

Next up we have any body care products that you use, this includes:

Shower gels

Scrubs

Lotions

Deodorant

Shaving cream

Body oils

Hand soap

Hand sanitizers

Hand cream

Foot cream

Any other products that you use in the shower and/ or on your body go here:

Pick a scent, it should be common so that you can easily find products for it

It can be of any scent type but it should play well with other scents so pick something simple

Make sure your body care products are of your chosen scent or have it as one of it's notes

Most of these products will be used in the shower

This category is slightly more complicated, you have to make sure that most of your products smell like your chosen scent but don't worry too much if one or two of your holy grail products aren't of your chosen scent; you can obviously still use them.

Your lotion, deodorant, hand cream, foot cream and body mist will be used daily so they are the ones that are the most important to focus on.

Category 3: The Body (Fragrance oil)

This is a special one. Fragrance oils are commonly used in Middle Eastern cultures as they tend to be long lasting, concentrated scents that have a more intimate sillage, but they are quite potent nonetheless.

Pick a scent, either oud or musk, these two are the best to pick because of the nature of fragrance oils and the availability of both scents in oil form

If you are worried about options, don't be, there's more than just pure oud/ musk. Trust me; I once smelled a chocolate scented musk oil

But if you are not a big fan of oud/ musk then there are still many other scents ranging from Egyptian amber to patchouli to rose

I love applying fragrance oils on my décolletage area and behind my ears as well as in between my elbows

I use it daily, after I shower. I am completely obsessed with them.

I would recommend getting oud/ musk oils, as well as other scents, from Middle Eastern brands like Rassasi, but there are also many designer brands, that are more accessible to someone living elsewhere, that have started coming out with fragrance oils.

Category 4: Clothing

This one is often over looked:

Make sure you have a good smelling detergent that is not too strong or too weak

Pick a scent, I would only really recommend vanilla for this category

Bit if you're feeling bold (ish) you can get something mixed with vanilla, eg. a vanilla and cherry combo

Another option that is more potent is bakhoor, it's very common in gulf countries to go over your garments with bakhoor smoke, the smell will stick onto the clothes and it usually smells heavenly

All you have to do is spritz your clothing before wearing or passing steam from the bakhoor on your clothes.

Category 5: Perfumes

A very fun one. It can be as simple or as complicated as you like:

Pick a perfume

or two

or three

The perfume(s) should go with your other scents

If you are new to the world of perfume then wearing one at a time is enough. But if you want to up your game layering perfumes is such a fun way to get a unique scent

You can either layer perfumes by spraying one on your shoulder and the other on your neck or any other variation of that sort, or you can directly mix them together by spraying them in the same place

Layering requires studying the notes of fragrances and A LOT of experimentation

Layering can be tricky and can go very wrong very fast, if you are new to fragrances I would suggest one perfume to start with and then work your way up if you want.

I usually spritz some perfume on my wrist/ elbow as well as my décolletage area and the back of my head or I will spritz some in the air and shimmy through it, depending on the strength of the perfume.

Some general tips:

This is a given but bathe daily

Less is more if you are too scared to go all in

Use vaseline before applying perfume

It can be hard to find products that smell the same/ similar so you can def break the rules a little

You can also do scent groups instead of individual scents, for example instead of picking rose for your hair scent you can do floral this way you have more options when it comes to products

Remember a product only needs to have one note that is your chosen scent, for example you chose coconut for your body scent, if you have a body lotion that smells like a Piña colada then it would meet the criteria

Unscented products can be a workaround for this

Bath & Body works is a game changer when it comes to body care products, almost always will you be able to get a body mist, a lotion, a shower gel, a hand soap and a hand sanitizer in the same scent and sometimes even a hand cream, a body scrub, a shimmer mist, a room spray and a body butter

Make sure your house smells good, the scent can linger on you

Carry some body mist/ perfume/ oil with you for resprays if needed

You can also use other products with the same scent as your fragrance, for example, Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel has a perfume, a deodorant, a body mist, a lotion, a hair perfume, a shower gel, a soap, etc. The only problem you may encounter is that not all perfumes will have multiple products of the same scent and your scent may not be unique as it's not a mixture

Do your research, with that being said Fragrantica is a good site for exploring notes and reviews of perfumes/ body mists and it also measures other metrics like longevity and is super helpful

Last but not least use combos that are tried and tested like oud, rose and vanilla or jasmine, vanilla and musk
