So I'm like "What if Cyclops was an actual cyclops?"

And then I'm like, "what if his eye was a compound eye, so it obliterated everything in a wide field a vision and he couldn't close it?"

So now I can't stop thinking about body horror versions of the X-men. More to come.

A work-in-progress for something I'm calling "Rite of Way."

Deviated a bit from my original concept of the house because having to draw the point where the bird legs meet the foundation made me think of roots growing upward and, well, here we are.

 artist: this specific thing is very bad for my industry. it is bad for the nature of creation itself. it is fundamentally harming me and my friends and everyone i care about and work for.

A timelapse for my concept sketches

Going to try and post art here again and see what happens. These here are some concept sketches for a larger project I’m working on, loosely inspired by the Discworld novels.

The animals in the other happy place have been altered or bred to suit the entities’ aesthetics and needs. They don’t seem to find the same things as us to be appealing at all.

Also in the bottom picture you can see part of the city the story takes place in. With The Tick Dog drinking….something….

Vinnie, the main character, is unsure if the “dog” is a dog that has been so altered it resembles a tick, or a tick so altered it resembles a dog. She does know they have a very intense urge to bite and drain you.
