hello i've come to humbly request to hear more about your ocs. perhaps an essay. a thesis even. i'm very curious
OH MY GOD okay hold on a second i wasn't expecting anyone to actually be interested in my ocs but since we're doing this now i might as well tell you about some of them 💪
considering you're another gekkan shoujo nozaki-kun (peak) enjoyer like i am, i'm just gonna introduce you to yūna, kiku, and shou
(aka my concept of nozachiyo's future kids)
here are some (rather old) picrews of them (i have not drawn in ages and therefore don't trust myself with a pen yet. bear with me.)
from left to right: yūna nozaki (ridiculously tall and non-chalant oldest daughter), kiku nozaki (neurodivergent lesbian middle child) and shou nozaki (couldn't even bring himself to hurt a fly youngest son)
yūna nozaki ...
– is so tall (thanks to her father) that she sometimes has to duck down to fit through doors and was, very likely, already taller than sakura when she was 10 years old
– has butt long, straight hair (GINGER 🫵)
– is short-sighted and wears glasses in class but contact lenses outside of school
– has inherited BOTH nozaki's and sakura's talent in drawing but genuinely couldn't be any less interested in art whatsoever LOL
nozaki thinking his legacy as a mangaka will live on thanks to his daughter:

nozaki: ... nevermind.
– you know how you inherit about 25% of your dna from your uncles and aunts? yeah, yūna definitely got her laziness from MAYU!
– has a sweet tooth like sakura, really likes the cheesecake her dad occasionally bakes
– was named yūna because the name can mean grapefruit, pomelo, citrus fruit which not only matches her hair color but also with nozaki's first name umetarou ('ume' meaning plum)
– left-handed

– is a walking (but bubbly) menace
– has chestnut brown hair which basically looks kind of like the result if you would mix nozaki's and sakura's hair colors together 🤔
– has always admired pretty girls and wanted to kiss them. turns out, she's a lesbian.
– a huge yuri enjoyer (himejoshi type of level)
kiku: suzuki should've been a girl.
nozaki: oh, i've seen this online! a lot of people do something called 'genderbending' with their characters. if you want to see that, i can try drawing suzuki as a girl and mamiko as a boy and -
kiku: no, mamiko should stay a girl.
nozaki who, for some reason, completely forgot the existence of shoujo-ai: huh?
– has audhd
– chronic vocaloid listener, now owns a bunch of miku hatsune figures after getting heavily inspired by mikorin's figure collection
– such a picky eater, prefers fast food and snacks over healthy food and proper meals
– was named kiku because the name means chrysanthemum, a flower, hence matching sakura's name (meaning cherry blossom)
– right-handed

shou nozaki ...
– is an elementary schooler who doesn't make friends easily (due to shyness) but is such a sweet and friendly boy, anybody who befriends him can consider themselves lucky
– has pretty much the same hair color and texture as nozaki but his facial features resemble sakura's a lot, it's very cute
– is both his sisters' little blessing
– loves sitting on yūna's lap or watching kiku play video games for example
– is a great story teller, enjoys reading, and has a massive imagination (shakespeare should be scared, i'm just saying ☝️)
– ADORES kirby
sakura, seeing anything kirby related in a store, such as a plushie, lunch box, or keychain: shou would love this!
nozaki, nodding with a smile: he would. should we get him this b -
sakura, who has already placed everything kirby related she found in the shopping cart when nozaki wasn't looking: hm? what'd you say?
– is unfortunately somewhat clumsy
– was named shou (also spelled shō) after the name shoubu (meaning: iris, the flower, and therefore matching with sakura, cherry blossom, and kiku, chrysanthemum) but also because i was thinking you can't spell 'shoujo' without 'shou' and his father happens to be a shoujo mangaka so
– right-handed

some more fun facts because i can't possibly stop talking about them just yet:
– all three of them have first names that contain only 4 letters which i did on purpose so they can match both of their uncles, mayu (nozaki's younger brother) and towa (sakura's younger brother)
– i got inspired by the nozaki siblings' order (umetarou, mayu, and yumeko) when i was working on them, so while they are brother, brother, and sister, yūna, kiku, and shou are sister, sister, and brother
– out of nozachiyo's friends, yūna gets along with hori, kiku with mikorin and seo, and shou with wakamatsu and kashima 🤲
– out of nozaki and sakura's siblings, meanwhile, yūna gets along the most with mayu, kiku with yumeko, and shou with towa
– while yūna looks and acts more like nozaki, kiku and shou resemble sakura more

Me and @noodlstoppr were very galaxy brained and we were talking about how similar Viktor and Simon were so we decided to collab and draw them together! I drew Viktor and they drew Simon!
