hunter-on-locke:
Hunter laughed a little and shrugged, rolling her eyes a little bit in a playful manner. âI mean, you are completely and totally right, so I really canât complain.â She said, sipping from her drink and looking over at the other. âSo what kind of drink would you like?â She asked, waving over the bartender so he could order a drink on her tab. She was glad she had run into someone to drink with, and she was glad it was Finn. He seemed to her very wise for his age, and she really respected that; she didnât know exactly why, but he just seemed so intelligent in the way he carried himself.
Finn grinned as Hunter accepted his good news knowing that many might have tried and argued his logic. âI would order a beer, but as itâs a free drink I think Iâll have the fruitiest and brightest cocktail the bar does.â He answered, his usually cheeky smile fixed firmly in place. âSo why do you need cheering up good news? Something got you down?â Finn asked casually, his expression slightly more serious. If Hunter didnât want to talk that was fine with him, but he just wanted to make it clear that he was happy to listen if she did.Â
