American Horror Story: Apocalypse âBoy Wonderâ
A new day has come... ||Lily &Marko
The soon to be family of four stepped foot for the first time into their new home now that it was actually theirs. The offer theyâd put on the last house they looked had been accepted and, Lily was so happy that it was moving day. Lily was in her fifth month of pregnancy now and she couldnât wait to bring Luuka to his home, the place he would grow up in. His nursery was going to be a moon and stars theme, and his name was going to be above the crib along with his name in wooden cursive letters with a quote that said âShoot for the moon, even if you miss youâll land among the stars.â âEaston here mommy found some of your toys.â Lily said to the fussy toddler who was missing her nap during the hectic-ness of the moving. She placed a small box of toys in the living room area and put the baby gate up. She hoped the little girl would tucker out and lay down on her own and go to sleep while the adults moved things in. Lily was working on sorting each of the boxes once they were brought in. She was currently in the kitchen putting away the dishes and glasses so they werenât broken. Lily carried in the lighter boxes so she didnât hurt herself or the baby, she hated feeling so useless but she could at least get things put away as they were bringing boxes in. âMarko, darling?â She asked exiting the kitchen carrying some bottles of cold water. âOh there you are. Here I brought you guys some water, do you all want to take a break and we can get something to eat?â She asked knowing Marko and the guys had been working all morning. It had been so nice of the band to offer to help move them in. âI could order some pizzas for everyone since Iâm not set up to cook just yet and the fridge is bare.â Giving them a moment to decide what they wanted Lily popped back across the room from the kitchen to check on Easton who was now curled up on the couch half asleep. Lily turned the light off in the room and slowly closed the door halfway. âEaston is almost asleep which is great because she hasnât had her nap yet. Iâll save her a piece of pizza or whatever we get. She had a big breakfast and a snack on the drive over here. So sheâll be alright.â Lily said as she opened her own bottle of water to get a drink. âIâll make a trip to the grocery store tomorrow after I finish getting the kitchen unpacked and things straightened up. Iâm going to make a really nice dinner for us too. To celebrate the first dinner in our new house.â She said smiling as she thought of what she would make. âAny suggestions? I could make your favorite meal. Or something youâve been craving lately.â
Moving day was always interesting with the other guys around. Even after the many moves that they had helped each other with, it was still hard for Marko to take it one hundred percent seriously. Marko felt like a big kid again as he dug through the boxes and sometimes jumped into one just to goof off, it was hard to say just how they got anything done, but at least it wasnât ALL work, and with as many trips as he had been making up the steps and back down and out to the moving truck and everything else, some playing was well worth it.
One of the rooms that Marko spent a good portion of the day setting up, was his studio that Lily had surprised him with--- which he was elated about. He had a feeling that it would be his favorite room in the entire house, especially since just right outside of it was set up to be a mini office to him, which he would need when he got up in the middle of the night and needed to write out his music without disturbing Lily. All of it would be a big adjustment, but a well welcomed one as he was starting a new chapter to the rest of his life.Â
A few hours had passed when Marko found himself back down stairs and was setting pictures up along the wall when Lily called out to him and caught his attention. âHmm?â Marko smiled and eagerly stepped over to take the offered bottle of water. âOh, thank you!â He uncapped it and took a drink. He had been parched so he was grateful to the suggestion. âPizza would be great.â He said with an eager nod. âI think that it would be perfect for a day like today.â Pizza was simple and easy to eat and it tasted really good. Everyone could grab a few slices of it and get back to what they were doing if they wanted to, since it was a very big move for all of them to be making that day. âJust make sure mine has some peppers on it, please.â He offered her a grateful smile before leaning in to give her a peck on her lips.
âI could go with you to the store.â He offered. Itâd be for the best if they went together, especially with the sheer amount that the two would be buying to stock their cabinets full of food. âIâm not very picky.â He said as he scratched at the back of his head in thought for a moment. âWould you be up for some lasagna or is Italian two nights in a row too much?â It was a joke, of course, but heâd be up for anything that she wanted. âOr something with chicken in it...? Chicken Parmesan might be okay.â His greyish-blue eyes turned to look at Easton, who was dozing over on the couch. She had tried to help them put a couple of things away earlier, so he knew that she must be tired. His smile broadened as he looked in Lilyâs eyes. âWhatever is easiest for you to do.â

âJeremiah the Bullfrog!?â Marko asked with a laugh. âI donât think that Iâve heard that one before.â He knew that it mustâve been a song that they had sung back in the states, though, not one of the big and popular songs sung by some band but maybe a folk song, judging by the name of it. âI meant my character Jeremiah the Peacekeeper.â It was a character that had been with him since the beginning of the band. He had been the Zoltar in Carnival of Rust and the mime in Can You Hear Me and the memory in the Temple of Thought in Cradled in Love, so it had been a name that he would have considered first. Repeating it silently to himself for a moment, however, he decided that it didnât have as nice of a ring to the whole name as James had. âIt sounds a hell of a lot better than Luuka JeremiahâŚâ He stuck out his tongue, feigning disgust and then leaned over to give her another kiss, before he returned to his side of the bed and turned back towards her.
The apartment was starting to feel a little cold as of late as the weather for London had turned to dark and rainy and he knew that snow would soon be on its way. He hoped that they didnât have another winter like the last one. But then again, if it hadnât been for the blizzard that caused road blocks and wide spread power outages throughout the city then the two of them might not have ever gotten together to begin with. He could still remember that night as if it had only been just yesterday. They had gone out to dinner and it had come a snow storm before it was over, leaving him with no other choice but to go home with her, which he graciously accepted the offer, but deep down he hoped that he wasnât being too much of a bother. Everything had passed them by so quickly since then, and now they were having a baby together. Even though he was thankful that things had gone the way that they had, through, having a snow storm such as the one that they had received was dangerous and he hoped that it wouldnât be nearly as bad this year.
Marko laughed. âThatâs because heâs trying to get away from me.â He teased as he pulled the covers around his shoulders in bed, still struggling with the idea of getting up and walking around in the cold. Lily got up out of the bed and pulled her robe on and Marko followed her lead, knowing that he would need the extra layer of warmth as he carried himself into the kitchen to put some water onto the stove for her tea and then grabbed a piece of paper and pen and began to scribble on it while he was waiting for his two loves to return to him after the young oneâs bath.
When he heard them walk into the kitchen, he glanced up and greeted the two of them with a smile. âGood Morning, Easton.â He waved at the young blonde and she waved back at him as Lily scooped her up and put her in her seat. Marko went back to drawing for a moment as Lily got Eastonâs fruit ready for her to eat. âUmm, pancakes sound nice to me and scrambled eggs. I could help, though.â He said smiling across the table, before standing up and grabbing the Bisquick out of the cabinet, along with the other ingredients that was needed to make it and squinted at the side of the box, looking for the correct amounts of each that they would have to mix together to make them.
Once he was satisfied and had it all mixed together, Marko grabbed a pan and a spatula and went for the eggs in the fridge, too. He didnât want Lily to get up if she didnât want to. He wanted to take care of her when and where he could, but if she wanted to pitch in, he wouldnât fight her either. He had seen shows where the husband would wait on their pregnant wife hand and foot and it usually made them angry, so he didnât want to push it too far.
âOh, by the way, I was drawinâ you and Easton over there if you wanna take a look at it.â He told her, shyly as he went to work on frying the pancakes.

The last few weeks had been a flurry of traveling, shows and some very big moments for Lily and Marko as a couple. She was still on cloud nine from the surprise engagement. She often caught herself smiling as she looked down at her ring. It was beautiful, Marko had picked out a ring that suited Lily very well. He knew her tastes and if it had been she probably would have picked the same ring. Once news of the engagement broke the two of course got a lot of calls from family and friends congratulating them. Though so far Lily and Marko had stayed mum on the baby news. Lily was nearly past the fourth month of pregnancy at this point and into her second trimester. Thankfully her terrible morning sickness had subsided recently and she was feeling a lot better. She was more energetic and able to actually get out and do things. She enjoyed traveling with Marko and the band. And while it wasnât always easy with Easton in tow she made it work. It wouldnât get any easier once baby Saaresto arrived. And to add to the excitement after the engagement they had an appointment with Lilyâs doctor and were able to find out the sex of the baby she was carrying. To Lilyâs relief everything so far was fine and the baby was growing just as it should. Lily cried tears of happiness when the doctor told them it was a healthy baby boy. They were discussing baby names but were still tossing them around so nothing was set in stone. Lily was also ready to tell their family and friends the good news about the baby. Given what had happened before she wanted to wait as long as she could just to make sure everything was okay. Her doctor assured her things were fine, so their next step was to make the announcement. They were still deciding if/how they would let their fans know as well. First came family and friends, Lily was just really now starting to show and if she wore sweaters or baggy shirts you couldnât really tell she had a belly. It was an amazing moment when Lily could really see her belly and knew there was a baby growing bigger and stronger every day.

Things had been moving at the speed of light lately, and Marko couldnât really complain about that. Itâs the way that he was used to doing things and during down time, he grew a little anxious. He liked keeping busy and on the go all of the time, but that didnât mean that it had to be the tour that kept him busy. Marko had a family now and that was more than enough to keep him happy. Of course, after he had proposed marriage in front of many fans with lots of cameras, he knew that it wouldnât be very long before the news got out there and his mother called him a few days later to congratulate him but also to load him down with questions in a flurry of Finnish and English and he was sure that Lily was probably somewhere behind him rolling her eyes at his anguish of being asked so many questions. His mom was like that. She always looked after him, even now and he love that about her. She had even knitted him a blanket that he took everywhere with him to keep warm, even on tour, and she had been the one to teach him how to knit too. But still, by the time that he was off of the phone he was red faced with near embarrassment, almost as if mom had pulled out an embarrassing photo album of when he was a child. Marko rarely got embarrassed, but sometimes, some questions were even a little too much for him.
