Howdy everyone, I'm gonna open commissions for a bit!
All prices are in USD. I accept venmo, paypal, and ko-fi. I do request that if you commission me, please pay at least half up front. I will do refunds in the event of an emergency popping up in my life that prevents me from completing the commission in a timely matter OR if you let me know you'd like to cancel the commission before I've sent you the first sketch or within 48 hours (whichever comes last).
More detailed info under the cut.
Thank you so much! Be sure to spread this around if there's anyone you think would be interested!
First I'd like to say:
You are free to use any piece of art you commission from me however you'd like as long as you don't try to pass it off as your own work. The only exception is when it is in promotion of bigotry, in which case I will ask you to refrain from connecting my work to those ideas. I'm not too worried about that happening, I just wanted to throw it out there just in case. If you use my work commercially, I would prefer to be credited if possible! If you are still unsure about how you're using it, just ask.
Anyways, let me get into some sample pricing. Here's an example of a ref sheet commission:
Each sketch sheet will contain a front and back full body shot of the character, their name and whatever biographic info (if desired), alongside design details and different expressions on the left side. If desired, I can also provide 1 or 2 alternate outfits using the full body shot as a base, as seen in the second image. This specific example ref sheet would be priced at $30 due to it using a simple character design and being exclusively made up of uncolored sketches.
here's an example of an animation commission:
I will generally animate on whatever frame rate is visually suitable, so I'm charging by the second instead. This animation is a 1 second looping gif, is a colored sketch, and has no background, so something like this would go for $40. i CAN do backgrounds, but they will be priced at the regular background price per background.
here's an example of an animatic commission:
The visuals are made up of sketches, there are no backgrounds (generally), and it is 15 seconds long, so something like this would go for $75. Given that this animatic is made up of around 27 drawings, I would say that's a pretty decent deal. Still, I would probably charge about the same amount if very simple backgrounds were to be requested with the sketches.
Now for pricing drawings with background:
Something with a simple color / gradient / pattern / image background will not cost extra. something like these:
with very minimal props / framing will also not cost extra.
now this:
while it is cleaned, colored, and detailed, it is still fairly simple. A background like this would only cost an extra $10, bringing the total price to $45.
For another example:
A drawing like this, which is exclusively a background, would only cost the background price. It is colored and shaded and is more complex than the previous background, and so it would cost around $25.

I'm getting notes on this again so I'd just like to say I made this mostly because I was in a period of intense gay longing for a guy I was into and didn't know how to express it (and now we've been dating for a bit over 7 months)
