Logan raised a brow as soon as the other talked a small look of amusement on his face. “A hippo? Now that’s a babe I want to meet.” He laughed lowly, “Do you think she has your smile to?” He asked teasing her as she sat opposite, happy not to be talking about the situation he had found himself in.

“Right? You have to tag along if you can fit the trip into your plans,” she declared. It’d probably never happen, but still the idea was nice. “I mean, I’d hope not. She’s cute and all, but at the end of the day, she’s a hippo. I’m not sure how I feel about you comparing me to one.”

Sasha really thought that they had arrived to a point where they were both able to joke around with each other, she wasn’t afraid of doing so around the blonde. Laughing gently at her words, Sasha’s eyebrows rose once. “That’s some confidence you’ve got, it will only be funnier when she totally overshadows you.” She joked, looking at her. “Hard to not when she’s that cute, i have seen news about her before.”

The realization that she had been acting overconfident lately hadn’t really hit Fiona until the moment that Sasha pointed it out. Her mood had gotten significantly better as of late and she knew exactly who deserved the credit for that, but she wasn’t willing to name the reason just yet. “Um, I doubt that’ll happen, but it’s great to know what side you’re on,” she responded, making a show of rolling her eyes despite the smile that had crept up on her lips. “She’s cute and all, but I don’t know. She’s just not me.”

“So zoos would be more of your fashion? I don’t know at zoos I feel like they don’t always treat the animals with the most respect.” He admitted with a smile. “So you’re gonna go visit her on the break? It sounds exciting.”

“Not necessarily. I’ve never really been the biggest zoo fan. But this one has Fiona, so I love it,” she told him, the rationale behind it making sense in her head but probably not out loud. “That’s the plan. Except also apparently Ryan wants to take me to Costa Rica. So that definitely takes precedence.”

“I’m not sure whether or not to be insulted that that’s what you thought,” she said, her eyes slightly narrowed in his direction before her thoughts quickly shifted. “Why are you sleep deprived?”

“I’d be so honoured to share that moment with you.” a cheeky grin plays at his lips and he takes a seat beside the girl, pulling his knees up to his chest to rest his chin atop them. “well, if she gives hugs that are better than yours, there’s a chance i will pick her, yes. but i’m doubtful. oh, what do we do if fiona the hippo’s fanboys and fangirls are all there on the same day? what if we can’t push through to see her?”

Turning on the couch to face him entirely, Fiona repositioned herself to mimic the way that he sat. “It’d probably not be the best idea to try to hug her. She is a hippo. Plus there’s the whole captivity thing that I think would get in the way,” she explained, trying to be reasonable despite her excitement. “But this is all good for me because it ensures that I stay number one.” He made valid point in suggesting that maybe Fiona the Hippo was just too popular for them to be able to show up and see, but she was still confident that it could happen. “Um, I don’t know if you’ve forgotten this fact recently, but we’re kind of famous. People will totally move out of the way.”

In the back of his mind he kind of knew that he was going to be able to convice her to follow him wherever the destination was, and now that she was actually saying that she would, everything he had in mind for it was much more real. He was excited to be with her for the first time away from cameras and everyone’s eyes. “I should be the only one in that list, actually.” He told her, only half-joking. He knew she had friends, but guys wise, he did want to be the only one that had that much of influence on her. “Sounds good, i’ll pick something extra expensive since you’re all rich and stuff.” He chuckled.

During the last break, there had been certain circumstances preventing the two of them from being able to meet up away from the show. It would’ve been nice to hang out without the knowledge that they were being recorded for the world to see looming over their heads, but it was for the best that they hadn’t back then. “Maybe. You’re at the top of the list at least,” Fiona reasoned. “Just because something is expensive doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good,” she pointed out. “But then again, we wouldn’t actually be spending my money. So go for it, babe.”
